Spider senses

HI Hivers!

This prickly looking spider had made a web inside of one of my garden water containers that was run dry. His legs were spread out at first as you see in the first photo but as I moved into the second position to get him from the other side he became aware of me and my camera as you can see in the third and fourth photos, he has drawn his legs right in , in a more defensive stance.

And just in case any of you are freaked out by spiders I will end with a couple of pretty flowers from the garden to soothe your nerve endings.

White yucca flowers, very pretty though sadly not scented.

No name on the next one but if anyone knows please tell me.

Wow Sally! These shots are unreal! So crisp and defined!

I often daydream about how insane it would be if everything on earth was the same size... so ants, spiders, flies etc were all human sized. Would be terrifying! Haha, strange I know, but the mind wanders :)

Hope you're having an amazing week! Lots of love x
