Cachimbo

Hello hive community! Today I want to share some very special photos with you.

A few days ago, I went for a walk in search of birds, but to my bad (or perhaps good) luck, I didn't manage to get any good shots. So, I returned home frustrated. If you've seen my previous posts, you've probably noticed that most of them are about birds; that's what I like most. However, this day, when I got home, I sat in my mother's comfortable rocking chair on our patio and just watched the landscape, which included my grandfather. Then I realized I didn't have to go far to find something special to photograph, so I didn't hesitate to take these shots.

Eugenio Breidenbach (Cachimbo)

One interesting fact about my grandfather, is his nickname. Here in our hometown, no one knows him by his name "Eugenio", but rather by his nickname "Cachimbo," which means pipe in Spanish, since that object was a characteristic of his life.
Another interesting fact is that he just turned 90! He's one of the oldest people in our small town.

These photos weren't planned, and they've been some of my favorites. I guess it's a reminder that sometimes what's spontaneous is more special.

Thanks for reading my post. I hope you enjoyed the photos.

Was he a plumber, a pipe smoker, or a flute player? 😄 I’m a bit confused now! Either way, those portraits are really beautiful and full of character.

He was a pipe smoker for many years. I apologize! My English isn't very good. 🫣
