The so-called golden hour - that short period just after sunrise or before sunset - is one of the most generous gifts that nature gives us as photographers. It is a soft, warm light, with long, delicate shadows that envelop everything in a nostalgic, almost magical atmosphere.

Photographing in that instant is a sensory experience. It is not only about what we see, but also about what we feel: the tranquility of the environment, the change in temperature, the calm of the streets or the slowly awakening life. That's when any everyday scene becomes special and any portrait becomes full of character and emotion.

That's why I go out camera in hand when the sun is low. Because I know that in those minutes, the city, the countryside or any corner takes on a different tone, one that cannot be replicated even with the best editing. The golden hour is not photographed, it is lived... and then shared.

Hay momentos del día en los que la luz no solo ilumina, sino que acaricia. La llamada hora dorada —ese corto periodo justo después del amanecer o antes del atardecer— es uno de los regalos más generosos que la naturaleza nos da como fotógrafos. Es una luz suave, cálida, con sombras largas y delicadas que envuelven todo en una atmósfera nostálgica, casi mágica.

Fotografiar en ese instante es una experiencia sensorial. No se trata solo de lo que vemos, sino de lo que sentimos: la tranquilidad del entorno, el cambio de temperatura, la calma de las calles o la vida que despierta lentamente. Es cuando cualquier escena cotidiana se vuelve especial y cualquier retrato se llena de carácter y emoción.

Por eso salgo cámara en mano cuando el sol está bajo. Porque sé que en esos minutos, la ciudad, el campo o cualquier rincón cobran un tono diferente, uno que no se puede replicar ni siquiera con la mejor edición. La hora dorada no se fotografía, se vive… y luego se comparte.
