What do you make of this?

Some balloons escaped from a birthday party, and they came over high up.

I also included a handful of the day's clouds in the post.

But first, I want to discuss the escaped balloons, as initially the numbers couldn't be figured out by me. A person couldn't be three hundred and twenty-one years old? (321), and one hundred and twenty-three years old (123) was also not possible? So, what is your take on the numbers? How old was the person? I will show you my answer at the end of the post.

Now, don't scroll down to have a look at my take on it, as it wouldn't be fair. I want your own interpretation of the numbers, to see if my version of the numbers is correct. Just a bit of play, as I was really having fun with those numbers. For instance, I wonder if the numbers bribed the wind to cut them loose from the party, as they were tired of the loud music. Or maybe the sound vibrations from the speaker near them made them decide to rather quit :)

Here is another look at those numbers.

As I said above, I took a handful of clouds on the day.

Two versions below of the sun's effect on the clouds.

The clouds looked very different on the hills towards the east. (Two shots below).

I have seen this emblem before, but I just cannot remember what it was. Maybe a country or a sports team? (Two shots).

And finally, another two shots of the clouds at a later stage.

My take on the numbers is that it was for a 12-year-old child. The date was 03-12, in other words the 12th day of March. That was the day that I took all of the pictures in here.

Some bad news here, as I have now started to shake, and it's difficult with the camera to take clear shots. So, what I do is that I take four shots of an item and then select the two that are the clearest, as you see in this post. I know that I am not young anymore, but it is very irritating, especially if I lose shots of an eagle or falcon flying over. I normally get them at the first click, but now I even miss them completely.

I always console myself with the thought that they would come again some other time, and then I will get them, but I think I am fooling myself. Whatever it is to be, I will just have to cope with it. Another problem is brain fog, and I think I told some of you that I got into the shower with my glasses on, and I thought that I was going blind due to the steam fogging the lenses :) Luckily my wife told me to take my glasses off.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Those balloons really make you wonder! It would be remarkable if someone made it to 123. I'm very sorry to hear about the tremors and brain fog. I'm just curious, have you every tried creatine? It's fairly inexpensive and 5mg a day works wonders for cognitive function. It takes a few weeks for the "loading" phase before the benefits start to emerge.

Oh yes, they do. We just had a look at creatine, and I think that I will give it a try. Thank you for the advice, and let's see how it goes.

You're welcome! I've been taking it now for a few months and have noticed an improvement in memory and stamina. A lot of nutritionists are recommending it now for people over 50. I hope it works for you!

You can take 4 shots, and then use a program to merge them, so you get a higher definition photo.

But, i suggest getting a monopod.

Oh yes, I am thinking about a monopod, but I live my free hand shooting and will continue until it gets worse.

Clouds are a lot of fun to look for shapes, they really can be fascinating. Too bad those balloons made an escape from the birthday party, but it was likely the date I would have to agree. As much fun as balloons are they do have a pesky tendency to make a quick getaway if you aren't careful! lol

Sorry to hear about the shaking. Getting older isn't easy! I remember getting out of bed this morning and feeling the good old morning pains just getting up. Then I started to ponder back to when I was in my twenties and even my forties. It never used to do that... Every since I turned fifty things really started to catch up to me! I know you have a couple years on me beyond that, so I have some more fun to look forward too!

I guess on solution could be a tripod, but you lose the freedom to carry the camera to point and shoot at targets of opportunity if you will. A photographer's best shots are often those caught at the spur of the moment!

Sorry I missed your post the last couple days, I took a couple days off to spend time taking care of the yard and all things not online. The sad part is the more I try to catch up the more I find I have to get done... sigh. Such is life!

Yeah, I think that balloons have a mind of their own. and if an opportunity arises, they will pull a disappearing trick. They also have a temper, and if they are mishandled then they will commit suicide by blowing themselves up. :)

This is the thing about getting older, we hark back to our carefree younger days when things that we are used to doing with ease turns out to become difficult. To be exact I will soon be twenty-two years beyond fifty in April, and all that I can say to you is that there is still a fist full of surprises awaiting you. But don't worry, as the human body can cope with anything, and you will be alright.

Nope, not yet, as I love to shoot free hand, and a tripod will limit my passions. But never say no, and maybe sometime in the future it will become necessary. You are right about the best shots, as I have proven it many times.

No need for apologies, as life is busy, and you have to do what you do. Just a pity that in your younger years, you would have done it all in much less time. Lol
Such is life indeed :)
