Lovely water curtains and a red veil.

Not what you think if you read the title, but let's have a look.
227.JPG

I saw this water curtain at the end of the road and it made for some lovely pictures.

My eye is forever focused on seeking out unusual sights and I am told that I see things that others don't.

Now if that's true I wouldn't know, as to me everything that I take photos of is normal. For instance, I know that the sun can create lovely images when it shines through water and at times it can even make artificial rainbows. So I hope that you will like the sun's effect on the water here.
Then I will also show you some other lovely effects at sunset.
Come and look.

The sun was playing with a water sprinkler.

And now for the red veil.

This was the beginning.

A closer look at the beginning.

This was the middle part.

And finally, this was the other end, and it was the setting sun now playing with the clouds.

Nature offers one some great photographic opportunities and this is well recognized the world over. I am passionate about nature and have always had a deep love for all of it's aspects. Should we get the news that a big storm would soon arrive, then I am out there with my camera. Bush fires, although very sad to see, also offer some magnificent sights. I don't take photos of people, as to me we are all the same and nature offers me so much more when it comes to variety.

But in saying this, sometimes it is essential to include people, such as surfers in the sea and other sporting occasions.
And then at times I will post cars and other things of interest just to break the monotony and to keep my posts interesting.
Such is my life.

And That's All Friends.

Oh yeah, thank you Jackie and it was indeed a very intriguing sight.
Not often that we see the sky like that and it was a real gift.
A cool Wednesday also to you !LOL

Than it is extra special when you don’t see sights like that often. Now you captured it, you can enjoy it once in a while. 😉
Thanks Zac.
Good night 😴

One day I will sort the photos in my 3 full external Harddrives as they have many extra special photos in the files.
I am busy filling the fourth HD and already bought a new one. Then I want to make a profile of most of the extra special photos.
Good night also to you madame !LOL

Aawww that sounds special indeed. Looking forward to that.
I have HD’s full of photos over the years.
Still going through the holiday captures… but little time at the moment as I’m really busy with many things and extra exciting things.
We will manage both one day… and share more.

Good night 👋🏻😴

Sounds good and yes, we have to wait for some empty time to do all of this.
The problem is that all of our time is currently taken up by doing other things.
I am even thinking about appointing another person to do all of the Papillon admin work, but even then, I will still not have any open times.
One day maybe!

I can so imagine Zac, it taking so much time. There are always things to do.
And if there is free time created, things will fill it up again. Or if you are really focussing on it to do some you time… and nothing else.
You will find some gaps here and there 😉

Enjoy your evening 👋🏻😁

Free time? What is free time and can one eat it? 🤣 !LOLZ
Gaps are the in thing nowadays and it's the power cuts that create the gaps 😉
We have had 2400 hours of power cuts already this year and they reckon that it's a record.

A great evening also to you Jackie.

Hahahaha funny funny !LOL
Wow, that’s a lot of power cut hours. They do create gaps and rethinking of many things.
Thank you so much Zac, enjoy yours. 👋🏻😊😴

Wow perfect photos and perfect timing. All the photos you shared are beautiful. In particular, there is a hidden rainbow formed by the sun and the water jet. Also, the red state of the clouds is very impressive.

Only ever see watering sprays like that on farmlands of late, have not seen them in the cities in ages, (but then I avoid city life). Had miniature version in the garden many years ago before water became an issue which the birds loved to dive through or find a branch to enjoy the shower.

Skies above a free for all to enjoy, matter of stopping spending time outdoors to drink in what is on offer.

Most if not all of the farms here have them and the strawberry farms even have sprayers that run on an automatic gantry, sliding the sprayers up and down over the strawberry beds. A real sight to see in action.
We used a hosepipe on the farm and even sixy cruised through the spray.
Sadly so many don't know the value of the outdoors and that's why I try to show the things out there in an effort to build up an interest.

Farms close up to Underberg still use this method of watering, I think they pump directly from river onto farmlands.

Makes a great show in winter if icicles form during a cold snap.

Ah yes, I also saw the sprinklers there my friend.

Sadly no icicles here during winter as the winters are too warm.
