An amazing show.
I was waiting for a sunset, but the sky decided to treat me to something unexpected.

What I like about this, is that one can never be fully prepared for the views on any new day. Especially when strong winds are at play with the clouds, one wind from the west and another one from the north-east. The winds can conjure up amazing scenes in the sky, as you will see in here. We call them crosswinds, and depending on their strength, they can either rip the clouds apart, or they can form some interesting patterns.
This northern look below gave me an idea that there might be a lovely sunset in the west, but it was not to be.
But the wind from the west collapsed the cloud.
Then a bit later the wind from the north pushed these clouds across, and the western wind started to carve them up.
Now I urge you to keep your eyes on the bottom left hand of the pictures below.
See those dark tendrils starting to appear in the bottom left of the picture.
Ever so slowly, dark lines started to appear at the bottom left.
Looked like a cloud hand as five fingers, or tendrils of cloud, started to appear.
And finally, just before dark, all of the views disappeared.
So, no sunset but I didn't mind, as those unexpected shapes fascinated me, and it also reminded me of how often our plans can be disrupted. We can sit for hours, days, or even months devising a perfect plan for some project, only for something unexpected occurring at the implementation of the plan. Someone said that you can make your plans but then life happens, and this is so true.
I have prepared some plans for projects that I thought would be perfect after spending a lot of time on it to ensure that it will be successful, only to scurry around like a rat when something unexpected takes place. Yes I do have a Project Management University Certificate, and it has stood me in good stead over the 25 years at Papillon, but one can never avoid the unexpected pitfalls that suddenly appear in some of the plans.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

An amazing sky show, !INDEED One of the downfalls to living in the woods is having views like that.
