A wild Baboon troupe on show...

...and I scored some great shots of the baboons at a spot in the mountains.

Have a look at this cute little one and then also some other ones.

Warning, do not park your car here with open windows, unless you want to have the interior of your car destroyed. And if you leave your keys in the ignition, the youngsters will drive your car down the mountain :) Bright sunshine after our rainy days, and we were out and about, to enjoy the views in nature. Mother nature was so happy with us, that she decided to give us a special show of some of her residents. Oh, and if you want some real trouble, then try to touch one of the babies, but please make some hospital arrangements before you try, as they will have to put you together again. Just some humor here, and though it's funny, baboons can be at their most dangerous when there are babies around.

And there was a little older one looking for a snack in a bin.

No snack, and it returned to the mommy.

The car inspectors arrived, but luckily this car was locked.

A very loud bark by the leader of the troop chased them off the car.

But the mother had enough, and she started to walk away.

Yes, it is Monday again, and I hope that this post will lift your mood for the week ahead. We have so much that occupies our minds and our decisions, but the baboons are showing us here how simple life can be. People become so despondent that they turn to drugs to try and escape from their problems, and it has become so bad that many also turn to suicide. Definitely not the way that life was supposed to be.

The baboons show us the value of community living, of care, and of support. They share and play together, and if a predator arrives, they will simply just gang up against it. Sadly, mankind is one of their worst enemies, as they chase and shoot them. So, like many other animals, they are very careful when mankind is around. You may have noted that I said that a loud bark chased the baboons off the car in photo number six. I will show you the source of the loud bark in another post, as it was the leader. A huge, big ape.
