Street Jam Sheffield
Technically, I missed this!
I saw a post online from Trik09, one of my favourite graffitti artists, who was painting at this event, on the last day of the event! Doh!
However yesterday I planned to head over last night for a wander after work. However the sun was out, and work was slow, and I literally thought, where would I rather be? So my manager very kindly allowed me to take the afternoon off as leave. So with my camera in tow, I headed over.
I knew where the Jam was on at the weekend, next to the Hubs, the student union location, so I made my way there. On the way I took shots of the area, people, and the graff..
Unfortunately when I got to the site, all trace had gone. I even went to the art gallery across the road advertising the event, but they didn't know where the pieces had moved to, so I headed on.
Below are some more examples
As a photographer I try to mix what I do in my shots, I've done still life, some macro work, lightpainting and I enjoy a good model shoot. If you'd like to check out any of my other work I'm on Facebook, or you can find me on Instagram under neilru75
Thanks very much for looking
Kind Regards, Neil

Now, this is art! Only the heavens know how these people come up with ideas and then materialize them! One day, I'd love to be present at a live graffiti painting. Your images here are lovely..the colors showed harmoniously.
Wow this is a delight for someone like me, I'm crazy in love with art, that owl with the white shades.. man how espectacular, thank you for sharing.
good luck dear friend Great shots
I really enjoy street art, since it’s about the feeling of the people in that particular place. And there are so many amazing pieces there in those walls, also those people are there like if they were waiting for you to take the picture. Amazing!
It seems to be a nice activity to do after work, just to walk a little bit and being able to capture that beautiful art.
