Quinceañera outdoor portrait photography
Today I want to share a new set of photographs I took for a quinceañera on her most special birthday so far. Her mother hired my services to have professional photographs of this very important stage in the girl's life.
We took these photographs in a park in my city since it is quite large and full of nature, perfect for the type of photo we wanted to take. I started with this photo where I used the path on the ground as a guiding line towards the girl:
Hoy les quiero compartir un nuevo set de fotografias que tomé para una quinceañera en su cumpleaños mas especial hasta ahora. Su madre contrató mis servicios para tener unas fotografias profesionales de esta etapa tan importante en la vida de la chica.
Estas fotografias las hicimos en un parque de mi ciudad ya que es bastante amplio y lleno de naturaleza, perfecto para el tipo de foto que queriamos hacer. Empezé por esta foto en donde usé el camino del piso como linea guia hacia la chica:

The girl brought a basket with flowers as an accessory and we took this photo where we gave attention to the shoes and it turned out beautiful, it is one of my favorites!
La chica llevó una canasta con flores como accesorio y hicimos esta foto donde le dimos atencion a las zapatillas y que quedó hermosa, es de mis favoritas!
Then we explored another part of the park to take the following photos:

Then we explored another area of the park to take the following photo, in which I wanted to frame the girl with the trees in the background:

We also took the classic photo in which the quinceañera is sitting with her dress stretched out:
También hicimos la clásica foto en la que la quinceañera está sentada y con el vestido estirado:
And we finished with a couple of close up photos, in these photos I sought to center the attention on the girl's eyes and all the accessories she was using:
Y finalizamos con un par de fotos en plano cercano, en estas fotos busqué centrar la atencion en los ojos de la chica y todos los accesorios que ella estaba usando:
I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera and a 24 to 105mm f/4 lens and a flash with a 50cm light diffuser.
At the end of the photo session both the girl and I were super happy with the results, I hope you like them as much as we do!!
Todas las fotos las tomé con mi camara Canon R8 y un lente 24-105mm 4/f y un flash con un difusor de luz de 50cm.
Al final de la sesión de fotos tanto la chica como yo quedamos super contentos con los resultados, espero que a ustedes les gusten tanto como a nosotros!!
Great photos! I hope she's super thrilled with them. Was it a cloudy day? Your ability to diffuse the light is always so impressive. Did she do her own makeup or was a professional makeup artist involved... because it's very well done.
It wasnt a clody day at all hahaha, i was using my flash at full power to overcome the shadows from the harsh light, also sometimes i use a difussor or i put the model in the shadow and then use a flash
Whoa! In that case you did really, really, really well... a flash at full power plus a harsh sun could have overblown so easily, but you kept it looking amazing.
Taking professional photos at this age, for this reason is not a custom in my country, nowhere in Europe as far as I know (maybe Spanish have it, dunno), but seeing what costs carry such an event ... scary.
Anyway, the photos are great as always.

Wow!! crazy to read that, in this side of the world is a big tradition to celebrate the 15 years of the girls, some does it big with dress like this and big party, others do small party and others do just 1 travel, but it's true that everyone celebrates it!!
