Maternity - Professional studio photoshoot
Today I'm back with a new set of photos I took in my studio, this time for a lovely girl who wanted professional maternity photos. She arrived with her partner, and I took some photos of them both together and individually.
We started with the couple photos, the reason being that they would both feel more comfortable on set together. The first photo was a full body shot, quite simple to warm them up:
Hoy estoy de vuelta con un nuevo set de fotografias que hice en mi estudio, en esta ocasion para una adorable chica que queria unas fotos profesionales de su embarazo, ella llegó acompañada por su pareja y les hice algunas fotos tanto juntos como de manera individual.
Empezamos por las fotos de pareja, la razon es que así ambos se sentian mas en confianza al estar juntos en el set, la primera foto fue en plano general, bastante sencilla para calentar:
Then I told them we could do the classic photo of the father kissing the baby bump:
Luego les dije que podiamos hacer la clasica foto del padre dandole un beso a la pancita:
And then another couple's pose. I was guiding them with the poses the whole time:
Y luego otra pose de pareja, yo los estuve guiando todo el rato con las poses:
For the next photo, I put a cube on the set and we achieved this beautiful photo:
Para la siguiente foto puse un cubo en el set y logramos esta foto tan linda:
And the last couple's photo was on the floor, again, I guided them with the pose:
Y la ultima foto en pareja fue en el suelo, nuevamente yo los guié con la pose:
And now we start with some individual photos, first with the girl who is the star of the day:
Y ahora empezamos por algunas fotos indivuales, primero con la chica que es la protagonista de este dia:
At this point, the girl went to change her clothes to have variety in the photos. While she was changing, I took a photo of the guy:
En este punto la chica fué a cambiarse la ropa para tener variedad en las fotos, mientras ella se cambiaba le hice una foto al chico:
Then the guy also changed his pants and we took more photos together:
Luego el chico tambien se cambió el pantalon y volvimos a hacer mas fotos juntos:
For all the photos, I used my Canon R8 camera with a 50mm lens at f/4, and for the lighting, I used two light sources.
Para todas las fotos utilicé mi camara Canon R8 con un lente 50mm a 4/f y para la iluminacion utilicé dos puntos de luces.
And I'll say goodbye with a photo of the girl alone. She had the idea for the pose in this photo:
Y me despido con una foto de la chica sola, ella tuvo la idea de la pose de esta foto:
At the end of the photo shoot, both the parents and I were super happy with the results. I hope you like the photos as much as we do!

How much love there is in these photos, the lovely young couple and their immense love for the baby they are expecting can be seen in their faces and smiles. Parenthood is the most wonderful thing in the world
