Here are a couple of pics of an elk that was hanging around in my backyard. I took these from my living room window. I have seen the majority of the herd here at one time......
in the neighbourhood of 30 or so females.

Thank you! I love seeing them, almost everyday in Winter, then they move up the mountain during Summer..
That elk has a nice coat.
They are very large, much bigger than deer.. I’m lucky to see them so often.. thank you!!

I bet! I get to do that sometimes with the crows, sitting on my couch and hanging my camera out the apartment window. I don't think I'll ever see an elk on the neighbor's fence, though.
