Here in my town, the workday in the rural areas of the southern valley usually ends between 4:00 and 4:30 AM. So it's common for the rural roads, farms, and pastures to be empty after 5:00 PM, with no farmworkers and no agricultural vehicles in operation. Then, an almost absolute silence takes over the countryside, and the afternoon transforms into a serendipitous display of colors, depth, landscape, light, and eloquence. And what I'm telling you is even more true in February, March, and April, when the dry season is well underway and the ochre tones challenge and encroach upon the once-dominant green. And the skies—ah, the skies—are exquisitely blue and may have a few clouds that become beautiful white brushstrokes thanks to the high wind. So, the afternoons south of town are just that: pure, simple scenery where the savanna and the mountains converge on the horizon, describing a valley that has always been beautiful for as long as I've known it... And that's what my post for you today on #Hive is about: "my landscapes south of the valley. I hope you enjoy it..."

Aquí en mi pueblo la jornada laboral en las zonas rurales del Sur del valle, suele terminar entre las 4:00 AM y las 4:30 AM. Así que es usual que después de las 5:00 PM tanto los caminos rurales como las granjas y pastizales estén ya vacíos, sin jornaleros y sin vehículos agrícolas funcionando. Entonces un silencio casi absoluto se adueña del paisaje campestre y la tarde se transforma en una serendipia de colores, de profundidad, de paisaje, de luces y de elocuencia. Y esto que os digo es aún más cierto en los meses de Febrero, Marzo y Abril, cuando la sequía está ya adentrada y los tonos ocres desafían y ganan espacios al verde otrora dominante. Y los cielos, ah los cielos, son exquisitamente azules y pueden tener algunas nubes que se convierten en hermosas pinceladas blancas gracias al viento alto. Entonces, las tardes al Sur del pueblo son eso, son paisaje puto y simple, en donde la sabana y las montañas convergen en en horizonte y describen un valle que siempre ha sido hermoso desde que lo conozco... Y acerca esto es mi post para ustedes hoy en #Hive: "mis paisajes al Sur del valle, espero que lo disfruten...

Beautiful, isn't it?... Yes, that's what these places are like at the end of the afternoon; perfect for taking photos! 😀... And let me tell you, that day I went there on my old bicycle and made a new friend, a friendly horse who has the habit of walking along the edge of the fence, keeping passersby company. His owner simply calls him "Friendly." But that's another story, which I'll tell you along with photos soon. Stay tuned so you don't miss it! 😀👍...

¿Hermoso, no?... Sí, así son estos lugares al final de la tarde; ¡Perfectos para hacer fotos! 😀... Y les cuento que ese día fui hasta allí en mi vieja bicicleta e hice un nuevo amigo, un simpático caballo que tiene la costumbre de recorrer el limite de la alambrada acompañando a quienes pasan por allí y es llamado simplemente "amistoso" por su dueño. Pero esa es otra historia la cual les contaré junto con fotos próximamente ¡estad en atentos para no perdérsela! 😀👍...
