Hello Photography Lovers Community!
When I was still living in Bielsko, I decided to head out one evening and take a leisurely look at the city at night. I'd never before simply strolled the streets at night. Of course, I'd been downtown, to events, cinemas, or shopping, but I'd always been wandering around the city "by the way." So I finally decided to take a closer look at the night Bielsko, taking a few photos, of course.
Kiedy jeszcze mieszkałem w Bielsku, pewnego wieczoru postanowiłem wybrać się na miasto i przyjrzeć się mu spokojnie w nocnej odsłonie. Nigdy wcześniej nie spacerowałem tutejszymi ulicami nocą tak po prostu. Zdarzało mi się oczywiście przebywać w centrum, jakieś imprezy, kino, zakupy, ale zawsze było to przemieszczanie się po mieście "przy okazji". Postanowiłem więc, w końcu przyjrzeć się nocnemu Bielsku w skupieniu robiąc oczywiście kilka zdjęć.
That evening, my wife was leaving for work for the night shift. On her way to work, she dropped me off near the Church of Divine Providence, where I began my walk and photography from that very church.
Tego wieczora moja żona wybierała się do pracy na nocną zmianę. Jadąc do pracy podrzuciła mnie w okolice Kościoła pw. Opatrzności Bożej, gdzie rozpocząłem swój spacer i fotografowanie od tego właśnie kościoła.
The church in question was built in the late 18th century. It is one of Bielsko-Biała's greatest historic buildings and also serves as the parish church. I have often driven past this church. I have also attended Mass several times. The church is a truly impressive sight at any time of day.
Kościół, o którym mowa został wybudowany pod koniec XVIII wieku. Jest jednym z największych zabytków Bielska-Białej i pełni także funkcję kościoła parafialnego. Często przejeżdżałem obok tego kościoła. Kilka razy brałem też udział we mszy świętej. Kościół wygląda bardzo ciekawie o każdej porze dnia.
It's most impressive from the front, with its twin towers soaring into the sky and its beautiful ornamentation. I regret that I never managed to photograph it at sunset. Its facade gleams beautifully in the warm sun.
Największe wrażenie robi z przodu z dwiema wieżami pnącymi się ku niebu i pięknymi zdobieniami. Żałuję, że nigdy nie udało mi się go sfotografować podczas zachodu słońca. Jego fasada pięknie lśni w ciepłym słońcu.
After taking photos of the church, I explored the surrounding streets. In one of the alleys, I came across a beautiful lantern glow, which gave the alley a wonderful atmosphere.
Po zrobieniu zdjęć kościoła zagłębiłem się w okoliczne uliczki. W jednej z alejek natrafiłem na przepiękne światło latarni, co nadało alejce wspaniałego klimatu.
Next, I headed towards the Bielsko City Hall. First, I focused on the streetlights lining the park path.
Następnie skierowałem się w okolice bielskiego Ratusza. Najpierw skupiłem się na latarniach biegnących wzdłuż parkowej ścieżki.
And then it was time to take a photo of the town hall itself, which is illuminated at night.
A później przyszedł czas na zdjęcie samego ratusza, który nocą jest podświetlony.
Initially, after finishing my photoshoot at the town hall, I headed back, but another monument caught my eye from the distance: St. Nicholas Cathedral. This is another impressive monument, visible from many parts of Bielsko thanks to its tall tower. Only after visiting its base did I return to my apartment.
Początkowo po zakończeniu fotografowania przy ratuszu skierowałem się w drogę powrotną, jednak z oddali moją uwagę przykuł jeszcze jeden zabytek. Katedra św. Mikołaja. To kolejny zabytek, który robi spore wrażenie i jest widoczny z wielu miejsc Bielska dzięki wysokiej wierzy. I dopiero po wizycie u jego stóp wróciłem do mieszkania.
