Museum Centre Pompidou Málaga!
If you want to visit a museum, I don't recommend you to do that in the weekends! Than it's always so busy! But when I was in Malaga, this museum had a free entry on Sunday's! And I am always traveling on a budget, so I couldn't let this one pas by!
I didn't know about this museum until I was walking along the boulevard and I saw this colorful cube on the roof of a building!
I like modern art so I wanted to take a look, and when I walked around the corner I saw the entrance of a museum! And from that entrance you have a nice view in the cube that is on the roof! It's like a giant light dome that is lighting up a big part of the museum!
Inside, the light fall is also very nice! Shoutout to my camper buddy and model Robbert, who I have met at the camper spot that week!
I often like the buildings of the museums more than I like the art that is in them! Like this staircase, totaly made out of wood! I like that so much!
And some black and white version of the stairs!
The stairs are leading you down to the dark part of the museum! There are some interesting light installations and that gave me the opportunity to test out the ISO range of my camera!
And that gave me the opportunity to capture some silhouettes pictures again!
This woman was reading the sign of an installation! I love the way she is standing in the light against the blue wall!
This display was projecting all kinds of images from the sea and beaches and as you can see, it was probably a nice Instagrammeble spot! I need to go look on instagram how many models are posing there like this!
I really love this ceiling light, it was light up just by the three small lamps!
They blue light around the lamp leads you into a nice blue room! There was an installation hanging from the roof with all kinds of small speakers in it! There was some kind of sound playing in there, I thought ocean sounds but I don't remember! I was to busy taking pictures!
And I call this installation the hanging scrotum's! I don't know any thing about this installation but many people were looking at it with the biggest interest! Yes, a lot of woman :p
And directly to the balls of the museum!
End back up again true this staircase! I tried to capture it empty ore with one person in it but it was to busy for that! And I am not that kind of photographer that shouts that every body needs to stop for me!
In the yellow part of the museum there were a lot of paintingsincluding some work from famous artist like Picaso and Fernand Léger!
This is a sculpture of Picasso! He was born here in Malaga, and they are very proud if that! I liked the shadow here! I don't have a sharp image of the sculpture it self! There were so many people here that I couldn't focus myself enough! Sometimes my brain shuts down when it's to busy!
And upstairs again where we had a nice last view on the cube on top of the roof! No,it is the roof! The building is the structure here!
It was such a nice place to visit and I love to shoot there! It's always inspiring to visit a museum! I am very happy of the results of this shoot, and it was a fun to share it with some one! especially when you travel alone!
