A diferencia de nosotros los humanos, que nuestros rostros en esencia son muy similares, los de los animales son extremadamente variados dependiendo de si son aves, mamíferos, reptiles, insectos, peces, etc., así que hoy les traigo una pequeña colección de retratos donde los protagonistas son gatos, aves, un cerdito vietnamita, una cabra, un perro y hasta un sapo. Hello hivers. Animals, those creatures with such striking and intriguing faces. Unlike us humans, whose faces are essentially very similar, animal faces vary enormously depending on whether they are birds, mammals, reptiles, insects, fish, etc. So, today I’m sharing a small collection of portraits featuring cats, birds, a Vietnamese pig, a goat, a dog, and even a toad. Me encanta fotografiar animales, no solamente porque los amo, sino porque son tan fascinantes y hermosos que hacerles una foto se convierte en una tarea muy sencilla jeje, no hay que tener grandes habilidades con la cámara, simplemente hay que tener paciencia y ser observador para capturar la mejor expresión.

I love photographing animals, not just because I adore them, but because they are so fascinating and beautiful that taking a picture of them becomes a very simple task, hahaha. You don't need great camera skills, you just need patience and to be observant to capture the best expression.

La cámara atrae a los animales, los hace sentir curiosidad, algunos se acercan, otros se alejan y otros posan con intención o indiferencia, como por ejemplo los gatos jejeje, son unos verdaderos modelos profesionales, listos para robar las miradas. Ya sea que se queden tranquilos o que su timidez los haga dudar de nuestra presencia, cada uno de ellos tiene algo hermoso que ofrecer, incluso los que son considerados raros o poco agraciados.

The camera draws animals in and piques their curiosity, some approach, others move away, and some strike a pose, whether deliberately or with total indifference, like cats hehehe. They are true professional models, ready to steal the spotlight. Whether they remain calm or their shyness makes them wary of our presence, each one has something beautiful to offer, even those considered odd or not particularly attractive.

La gente suele asociar algunos animales con una mirada en específico, por ejemplo una mirada intimidante con las serpientes y una mirada tierna con un gato, sin embargo, eso no es siempre así jajaja. Hay miradas serenas, intimidantes, curiosas, temerosas, alegres y melancólicas en todos los animales, la mayoría de las veces pensamos que solamente las miradas de los perros, los gatos y algunos otros animales varían y cambian, pero la verdad es que al igual que pasa con las personas, las miradas de todos los animales también cambian dependiendo de la situación y de su estado de ánimo.

People often associate certain animals with a specific type of gaze, for example, an intimidating look with snakes and a tender one with cats, but that isn't always the case, hahaha. Animals can have serene, intimidating, curious, fearful, joyful, or melancholic expressions. We often tend to think that only the expressions of dogs, cats, and a few other animals vary, but the truth is that, just like with humans, the expressions of all animals change depending on the situation and their mood.

Todas estas fotos surgieron de manera espontánea en mi casa y en la calle, me tocó sacar rápido mi teléfono para capturar la imagen 😁, es lo que me encanta de fotografiar animales, en cualquier momento puede aparecer la foto perfecta, no hace falta ensayar, maquillaje ni un escenario, todo es tan simple como perfecto 👌🏻.

All these photos happened spontaneously, whether at home or out on the street, I had to quickly pull out my phone to capture the shot 😁. That’s what I love about photographing animals, the perfect picture can appear at any moment. There’s no need for rehearsals, makeup, or a set, everything is as simple as it is perfect 👌🏻.
