Let Me Surprise You
Today I'd like to show you the rest of the photos I took at the exhibition in January this year, where you could see the work, or the product of an art camp. These type of exhibition are a lot of fun as you can see all kinds of artworks, crazy ideas I dare say and this is exactly the idea.

Here for example, one of the artwork was a sprinkler on a ladder, which I suppose you would never expect to see at an exhibition and the funny thing is, if a known artist does that, it's called art. If I do that, I'm called crazy :) Is it fair? Not rally, but this is how things work and there's little we can do about it. Anyway, let's see what I brought to you today.
Fruzsina Siklódy - Space Fragment I., II.
The photos were taken two months ago and event though I remember the exhibition, these two really put me to the test, I am not ashamed to admit. When I looked at them now, before posting, my first impression was that these are paintings with 3D effect, but I could not see the frames and as I never take partial photos without taking a photo of he whole artwork, made me have a second look, but I'm still confused. If these were real size boxes, the suspension strings should be visible. So this I think will be the first riddle of the post.

Zoltán Nagy - Lomography
Lomography, or simply lomo, is a photographic style which involves taking spontaneous photographs with minimal attention to technical details. Lomographic images often exploit the unpredictable, non-standard optical traits of toy cameras (such as light leaks and irregular lens alignment), and non-standard film processing techniques for aesthetic effect. Similar-looking techniques with digital photography, often involving "lomo" image filters in post-processing, may also be considered lomographic.
These type of photos are not rare, I've seen them quite often, but can't say I'm a huge fan. It is interesting, I admit, it is challenging to take or create them, but nothing more.

József Gaál - Kapola
The second riddle for you :)
Péter Gálhidy - Cardiac Vein
You've been warned, so you can't complain. Have you ever expected these two straps to symbolize cardiac veins? Well, this is the idea the artist had. It's original for sure.
Another riddle for you as there was no label, no explanation, so it's up to us to decide what it is, based on what we see.
Andrea Gulyás - Unfair Game
Although visually it's not pleasant, I don't think you'd want to look at it every day, it's still pretty explicit and original.
Nóra Lantos - Gruzsba
Now, I know what I see here, but the word gruzsba is unknown. I tried to find out more, but the return I get is druzsba, everywhere, which has nothing to do with the matter.
Júlia Szunyog - Grief
This was a really cool piece. That stone look and the many shades of grey (no pun intended here) gave the work a really nice aspect.
Ionel Mihai - Dance Of The Scythe
This is where the fun begins. I've never seen an earth sculpture or statue like this, let alone doing such a work. It's really original and also Eco-friendly. Most likely this earth guy is transported where it is needed and collected after the event as you can't really leave it outside, in case it's raining.
Apor S. Ferencz - Wheat Field
This is another interesting and original idea. Dressing up in traditional folk wear and posing as a valiant in the wheat field, wearing a welding mask ... it's funny and controversial a bit as well. Back in those days, when this folk wear was a thing, not just for events, welding was unknown, as you need electricity for that.
Ionel Mihai - Earthman
The earthman in itself is a very good idea, but making him hold a sapling, it's sheer genius. I love it.
So this is it for today. Let me know what you think.

Thanks @scrooger.
The volleyball has some rather grotesque similarity to wounds on a someone or something. Is this what the artist wants to convey? I don't know.
I can only guess, but I think so. Imagine how you can get hurt doing sport, even playing ball games.
For sure. Both my boys played soccer. One would be surprised at the injuries. Even had one that required stitches. The other required knee surgery from playing when he got older.
This is exactly why I said, it's not nice visually, but it's real. So it's a genius idea of symbolizing injuries.
Kapola is a skeleton but i can't really get the sense of it...
Unfair Game, i think, but i might be completely wrong, that it represents a condemn for child labor, usually those balls are made in third world countries by children exploiting them
Earthman, is just fantastic, not only the execution, but from artistic point of view it's just great
To me, it looks more like an alien :)
Interesting take on this one, I never thought of that in this regard.
I think Earthman is the winner this time, a well deserved win for a very good reason.
This art exhibition is interesting, there’s a little bit of everything! I like that; it really makes you think.
As for the puzzles with the boxes... I see them as rooms, but there’s chaos inside them; still, the 3D effect is really good. With the piece “Kapola,” the first thing that came to mind was an X-ray, but it really is very strange.
And I have two favorites, both because of their deep meanings: “Grief” and the last one.
You have picked two very good ones and as I commented to Davide, Earthman wins this time, a well deserved win, but the other one is also excellent.
I think we agree on that, strange is the keyword in this regard.
It’s nice to see new and unusual things; it broadens our horizons and helps us learn.
Have a lovely Sunday!🤗
Very interesting exhibition! I enjoyed your descriptions, especially the idea of “riddles” for some artworks. Really unique and creative pieces. Thanks for sharing!
