Another Art Camp Exhibition With Riddles
One of the exhibitions I visited last week was about the artworks from an art camp, organized last year. The reason I like these exhibitions more is because it's a totally different experience compared to other exhibitions.

It is not about a single artist, or a variety of artists creating their art about the same topic. Here each artist can come up with what they want, meaning they can create anything they like. What you get is a wide range of ideas expressed in form of artworks and I can guarantee you, sky is the limit.
As always, I had no idea what I'm going to see, so the first glance gives me an idea about what I'm going to experience. The exhibition hall is not big, it's actually a cultural foundation in a big house, is there are basically three rooms for art and the top level for photography. This means when you step inside, you already see almost half of the exhibition.
Obviously having a look from 5 - 6 meters is good to have a general idea, but the real joy is when you can examine the details from close as well.
I always take a photo from the entrance, to make you part of my experience and offer you (to some extent), the same experience, even if you can't be physically there.
So this was what I saw the minute I stepped inside the gallery. Is this diversified enough for you? Let's see each artwork in details now.

József Baab - White smoke
My first though, when seeing this painting was, I've been in this situation when camping, and it is a real scene, but not many artists care to capture it, except photographers, so it was nice to see a shift in this regard.
Most likely many of you won't like it, as the white smoke makes it kind of abstract, or covers most of the canvas and scene, but it's an interesting one.

Looking at this one, you may think someone has left their suitcase, or work box opened and unsupervised. Well, it's not the case.
This is an artwork by Balázs T. Vörös called Pseudo Triptichon in memoriam cameraman János Tóth. I haven't had the pleasure to know János Tóth or his work, but I respect his memory and am glad someone pays tribute to him and his work.

Szilárd Zsolt Csóka - Hybrid Nation
Most likely you remember I've posted similar artworks last year. These are printed photos on canvas and painted over or painted on top of the photos. It's a new thing, or at least fairly new to me, but it's possible it's a new trend. I can assure you, so far this technique, although it's interesting, could not win me over.
I understand that with a printed photograph, you have the canvas already designed, in other words, you have the topic, which you can modify by applying paint, but honestly, I can't see much value in it.

Botond Gagyi - Solar Wind
I'll let this one for you. Tell me what you see here, or how you understand this "Solar Wind".

Levente Horváth - Barn Passage
This painting made me wonder what the reason behind this painting was. Most likely there's more to it, some old memories or something to tie the artist to this scene as it's not an usual one. It's colorful, vibrant, but without a deeper meaning, it means little to me.

Peter Rismáyer - Church
I think I'll let this to you as well. Tell me, why is the title of this photo "Church".

Tünde Sipos Gaudi - Please use gloves
Good thing I am not allowing myself to use gifs in my post, but I'd have a pretty expressive one for this one.
Jokes aside, these were a pair of gloves hung on a nail. Yes, sometimes artists can be funny, but let's see the other "artwork" and see if these two have anything to do with each other.

Tünde Sipos Gaudi - Wooden Storage
Here there was a wooden box containing folded paper. There was nothing visible written on them, on the outside, but we could not see what's on the inside.
What I was wondering here was, should we use the gloves, to open those papers and see what's inside? If there was anything on them at all.
The funny thing is, I would never touch any artwork, it's common sense not to do it, but have a good relationship with the curator and could have asked, but would I risk looking stupid? 😆 And this is why we don't know what these two "artworks" mean. You tell me. Let's see how you interpret or see this.
This is it for today, I hope you find it as interesting as I do and I'm looking forward to reading your opinion and answer to a few of the riddles :)

Not to my taste at all, but it's always fun to see things you don't like. It's all about taste. You're only an expert on your own taste.
So many times you find art not to your taste at exhibitions, but as you say, it's fun to see something new and interesting.
I am not sure about any of them other than the one titled Church. I like it just because I can imagine myself sitting around the trees and chillin. As far as the gloves and folded envelopes, I have no earthly idea.
I am with you, that place can be perfect to relax and recharge your batteries.
Solar Wind: it's some hands holding like an hurricane, so i can get the 'wind' but solar? maybe for the colors?
Peter Rismáyer - Church: not too hard, the bells on the side resemble the bell towers, which piss off many people by the way, so bell towers are only placed near a church
this one is my favorite, but only for the forest 🤣
Most likely. I could also figure out the wind, but don't know how it connects to solar.
Interestingly the weirs Church is the winner today, but I suppose not for the reasons the artist meant 😬 but because people like green spaces and those we have winter now (us), are longing for good weather.
Haha yea, I guess no one liked it for the church idea 🤣
I like the architecture of churches, but real churches 😂
Perhaps the gloves were there to see if anyone dared to touch any of the papers. I wouldn't...
Solar energy, interesting, because the sun's energy is very powerful. Maybe that's why the hands are stretched out like that.
Church... I quickly thought that nature itself is very wise and has two sides, so the church is nature itself teaching us about life.
My favourite, White smoke... I love what I can see behind the smoke and brushstrokes.
