Moody Street Photography... Another Vision of Buenos Aires [ENG/ESP]

Greetings friends! Today I bring you some photos of the city of Buenos Aires, taking advantage of these last days where the weather has been quite gray, cloudy, with even fog and some rain. I was able to give another form or vision to the city in relation to street photography under a Moody style.

A style that I have already mentioned I love for the tonalities and the mysteriousness of its results, low lighting levels among other aspects.

Saludos amigos! Hoy les traigo algunas fotos de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, aprovechando estos últimos días dónde el clima ha estado bastante gris, nublado, con incluso neblina y algo de lluvias. Pudiendo así darle otra forma o visión a la ciudad en relación a la fotografía de calle bajo un estilo Mood o Moody.

Un estilo que ya he mencionado me encanta por las tonalidades y lo misterioso de sus resultados, bajos niveles de iluminación entre otros aspectos.

All these photos were taken during a day, touring different areas of the capital starting with microcentro, especially the obelisk, where I could take advantage and make a photo of reflections, on corrientes avenue. You can see some shops with their respective illuminations.

As well as a photo closer to this monument making contrast between the old and modern buildings in the area and in this iconic center of the city.

Todas estas fotos las he tomado durante un día, recorriendo diferentes zonas de la capital empezando por microcentro en especial el obelisco, dónde pude aprovechar y hacer una foto de reflejos, en la avenida corrientes. Se puede observar algunos locales comerciales con sus respectivas iluminaciones.

Así como también una foto más cerca de este monumento haciendo contraste entre los edificios antiguos y modernos de la zona y en centro este icónico de la ciudad.

One of the photos that I like the most of this series is this one where the Broadway theater is located, coincidentally they were showing an advertisement of Queen. Although for this photo I did not want to focus on the theater or the building itself, but rather focus on the floor where there was water and reflected a little of the lights of this advertisement.

The following photos were taken during the afternoon in the plaza del congreso in one of the Ecobici stations, in the background you can see the real estate building and some others around it. A more detailed photo also emerged from testing angles and it is one of the wheels of these public bicycles. Coincidentally a person walking in front of it came into this frame.

Una de las fotos que más me gusta de esta serie es ésta donde se encuentra el teatro Broadway, casualmente pasaban una publicidad de Queen. Aunque para esta foto no quise enfocar el teatro o el edificio en sí, sino más bien enfocar el piso donde había agua y de reflejaba un poco las luces de este anuncio publicitario.

Las siguientes fotos fueron durante la tarde en la plaza del congreso en una de las estaciones Ecobici, al fondo se puede ver el edificio de la inmobiliaria y gunos otros a su alrededor. Una foto más en detalle surgió también de probar ángulos y se trata de una de las ruedas de estas bicicletas públicas. Casualmente una persona que caminaba en frente entró en este encuadre.

As it is impossible not to portray the majestic building of the national congress I decided to take a couple of pictures of it. One during the afternoon and the other at nightfall, while the blue hour was almost over. From a low angle I was able to bring in the building making a composition with this attractive sky and at the same time with two different approaches.

What do you think about these photos? A tour of two neighborhoods in the city of Buenos Aires, Monserrat and San Nicolas during a crazy friendly day but attractive in this style and street photography. A hug to all and enjoy the almost weekend 😃

Como es imposible no retratar el majestuoso edificio del congreso nacional decidí hacer un par de fotos de éste. Una durante la tarde y otra al caer la noche, mientras casi finalizaba la hora azul. Desde un angulo bajo pude hacer entrar el edificio haciendo composición con este cielo atractivo y a su vez con dos enfoques diferentes.

¿Que opinas sobre estas fotos? Un recorrido por dos barrios de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, Monserrat y San Nicolás durante un día loco amigable pero atractivo en este estilo y a la fotografía de calle. Un abrazo a todos y que disfruten el casi fin de semana 😃

Definitivamente quiero decirlo, QUE FOTOS TAN INCREIBLES de verdad yo siempre veo fotos con ese uso del charco de agua para el reflejo y es genial, pero tú lo destacaste al máximo, de verdad todos los colores de las fotos las amé combinan todas juntas hasta me las imaginé todas en un collage, increíbles tus fotos de verdad.
