Trying out my car photography

On our way down to Vegas last week, I made an attempt at doing some photography of my car when we stopped and checked out the Joshua Trees. I really like the way these turned out. There are so many different layers, from the clouds, to the rocks, to the reflections on my car.
My son has been getting really good at car photography and I have been trying to get him to post to Hive. He is surrounded by exotic cars all day long and takes pictures of all the work that he is doing on them and they turn out really good. I am going to need to get him to give me some pointers so that I can improve my car photos.
I am really glad that I was able to get my windows tinted before we made our way down to Vegas, because it was hot as balls, and the ceramic tint really helped to cut back on the heat that gets in the car. Plus the dark windows make my car look really cool. Now I just need to get the ceramic on my windshield and it should black just about all the heat that comes in the car.

That's a fine car...
Thought it was a render you know
I liked the angles and all about this picture.
could I perhaps save this and use this angles in Fspy.
Sure, if you do end up using it, just credit me somewhere. Not sure what Fspy is tho
alright... would do that.
Fspy is a free software add-on from blender for vanishing points and all.
I'd make sure to do that definitely
Sounds like it could be cool. I would like to see it if you do
Beautiful car and photos 😍😍 Hyundai such a good brand
Thank you. I agree, Hyundai has come out with some great cars recently. I've owned a bunch of them and never had any issues.
Sweet shots!
I've been trying to get some cool images of my jeep when I go in trails but alas this field is still new to me and I just can't seem to figure it out just yet.
Hey, long time no see.
Hopefully you are able to get those shots you want. Vehicle photography is tricky and it just takes a lot of practice. It’s all about trying to find those interesting angles.
Hey hey! I wasn't sure if you would have remembered me :D Cool that you do hehe.
Man, is it ever! I tried to get that one style where it's dark outside, the shot is taken from below and you see the lights but not too bright so you can see the front of the vehicle too. Ya that didn't work out so great haha.
Dude, your car is beautiful. I think you're a pretty good car photographer. I'm waiting for your son to come here lol. 2 Wes will rock Hive!
Thanks man. Hopefully I can get him to start posting here. He has so many amazing pictures that he takes everyday.
You got a beauty!!. Loved the whole vibe in the photograph blending in with the contrast of the car.
Thanks, I like how they turned out
It turned out beautiful :D
Thanks
Those look like you were doing a photo shoot for a car commercial haha.
I love how the color of the car blends in with the background.
Back in Ireland, I had a Hyundai Santa Fe, and even though it was already
12 years old when I bought it, it was the best car I've ever had. I LOVED it!
I was very sad when I had to part with it when we moved to Mexico.
But then I came here and seeing how they drive here...I'm not too worried about driving just yet LOL.
I had a Santa Fe a few years back and I loved it too. Hyundai makes some really cool cars now.
Yeah they do. I thought it was amazing to drive an SUV (although they would have called it a jeep in Ireland) for a not-so SUV price. I was lucky when I bought mine because I only found one car within my budget at a dealership, and it wasn't exactly the one I wanted. I believe it was a KIA (ugh) and it was white (also ugh). I told them I had to think about it for a few hours. Went home, checked the marketplace website one more time, just in case, and there she was.
Exactly the one I wanted, black, very well maintained (belonged to a couple who used to drive their kids around in it, selling because they flew the nest) and not only was it actually 2 years younger, with less mileage than the other, it was also cheaper! Much cheaper.
The money I had left over bought me and my kiddos the flights to Bangkok for SteemHiveFest. 😆
I drove that car for nearly 3 years without crazy maintenance costs, and it passed the safety test (which can be a drag in Ireland) with flying colors every year.
And I sold it for a great price when we left.
I've never been so happy with any car before haha.
And my kids were happy too because it was a huge step up from all the beaten-up wrecks I'd been driving before that.
every car in this world needs to be photographed by you, lol, lovely pictures, lovely positioning, this is something that'll ne so cool for a wallpaper, great job
lol, that would be cool to take pictures of a bunch of different cars. I am glad you liked these.
Wow, that was amazing.
I think that was clear shoot, and your focus is perfect.
Good work. 👍
Thank you
Youre welcome Chief
Great shoots. Think the color of the car, just gelled with the elements.
