Street shots in Vegas
One of the things I am really looking forward to doing while we are here in Vegas is to work on my street photography. Street photography has always been pretty fascinating to me, but I have never really put much effort into getting better at it. This is probably because the area I live seems boring to me and I don't think that there would be anything cool to photograph.
Well, I can't use that excuse in Las Vegas because there is always something going on here. This really is the city that never sleeps and there are so many people from all over the world here. This place also has some of the coolest building designs.
Last night we had a crazy storm roll through the city and the rain flooded the streets and into some of the casinos. It would have been cool to be out getting photos of all of this, but it was also good that we were in the safety of our room and we didn't have to worry about the storm. We are getting ready for the day and I am excited to get out and get some more photos. We are also planning on spending a lot of the day chilling at the pool.

We walk through the casinos. We don't gamble, so we don't spend too much time in them.

lol. Ya, that Dude had a full Bumblebee outfit and was like 8 feet tall. You run into a bunch of weird people here.

We are hoping to go back out there in a couple hours when it cools off. There should be a lot of performers out. It is Friday night.
You're right, sometimes we are so used to some places that everything seems boring and uninteresting to photograph. In these cases, instead of panoramas, I like to shoot single objects which in the general context are not even noticeable and I discover that I was surrounded by interesting things that were invisible to my eyes!
