Waterton Lakes Park
Last Fall was my second trip out to Waterton Lakes Park, located in lower Alberta, near the US border. We had such a great time the previous Summer, I wanted to return for round two. This time I came solo though. Not necessarily by choice, but you know it isn’t always possible to go with friends due to conflicting schedules. Here are the first couple of photo ops on day one. The view is very beautiful, the atmosphere feels calm and a little melancholic.
The forest is growing back after a fire went through about 10 years ago.
Wow that's a really sharp mountain in the first picture! Schedules are always hard for everyone though

It sure looks different in fall after the leaves have dropped. Sure is pretty still though! Are you still thinking of heading out this weekend to get out of Dodge to get out to Banff? I hope you enjoy the trip if you make it!
