Surreal Red Rock Falls

DSC07972.jpeg

What an incredible place, Red Rock canyon falls. I have never come across a more interesting place, with such vivid red and yellow colours to amaze us with. What makes these rocks so red and yellow you ask? It is the iron oxide imbedded within. This place is so unreal, or surreal is a better way to describe it. I could have stayed here all afternoon, just watching the beautiful clear water make its way through the canyon, and then through the falls. Photos taken at Red Rock canyon, Waterton National Park, Alberta, Canada. Thanks for stopping by.

Great pictures here, this looks a fantastic place to go watch... Black and white here is a crime, hiding all that beautiful colors 😅

Obviously the black and whites don't do it justice, but I include anyways. Thanks for looking.

They do look painted actually, but it is natural. Thanks for stopping by.

These extremely vibrant red and yellow colors are very nice. The colors of my favorite team haha. Probably as the water runs over it, it erodes the stones and makes them more vibrant. #ForzaGalatasaray

The beauty of nature never cease to amaze me. The bright red and yellow color is beautiful.
The white and black picture didn't bring out the beauty

There must've been some form of rock formation and all that. It's the first time I'm seeing a red rock, and very bright red for that matter. Nature can be intriguing.

It's amazing how those metals oxidize and create such a beautiful array in the small river there. Mother nature's art on display. Did you see the Rainbow Mountain in my Tuesday post, a mountain peak in the Peruvian Andes Mountains that literally looks like a rainbow. It's 5K meters in elevation though, so hard to visit!

Great pictures, that is a beautiful place, the yellows are really cool to see as those oxides aren't all that common!
