Relaxing at Crandell Lake

After reaching your hiking destination, its time to take a load off, relax, rehydrate, and enjoy the scenery. We’ve made it, and the reward is what you see. Perfect. Can you feel the sun on your face?! I can. The water is looking very tempting, beckoning me to wade in, maybe I should have, but I didn’t. Maybe next time! Photos taken inside Waterton Lakes park, Alberta. Thanks for stopping by.

As always, the lake looks so serene and beautiful
Our Canadian Rockies are so beautiful. Thanks.
Sit on the fallen tree on the first picture and just stay there admire the lake, that I'd do
Perfect spot to relax and reflect.

The water in the lake is really tempting to play in.
Indeed it was, should have brought a bathing suit with.
I can't feel the sun on my face or reflecting in the first picture, but I can see that shadow of the sun actually shining through the stones in the second picture. The peace and tranquility is unmatched.
Need to use your imagination more lol..
Thanks as always for stopping by.
A calm and serene look. Pretty awesome photos.
Thank you @femelyn.blog.
Thanks.
Nature is just so beautiful, be it black and white photograph or colored. This gave me some warm chill.

Love nature right?! Thanks for looking.
It sure is a pretty lake, well worth the effort getting there. Hydrating is always smart after a nice hike, got to stay on top of that! I bet it will be even more beautiful once all those pines grow back, it's just such a shame they take so many decades to grow back into huge trees to replace their parents!
How's the week going? Are you heading out this weekend?
Yes, looking forward to coming back in the future, when the forest is further along in it's restoration. Have to work this weekend, next decent trip will have to wait till June, how about yourself?
