Random Friday ~ Boxing Day

Welcome to Random Friday, or Boxing Day as it turns out. Did you exchange gifts this Christmas? If so, what y’all get or give? Let us know in the comment section below. Perhaps you are on vacation or just staying at home for the holidays? It seems like a lot of Canadians are vacationing in Mexico this Winter. I texted a friend to wish him a Merry Christmas and he was in Puerto Vallarta, much to my surprise! I need to get out there someday. Have you been to Mexico? Thanks for stopping by.

That was, indeed, a great artist. We like the faces in the wood of the benches, very expressive. And no, we haven't been to Mexico.

Interesting random image, I was amazed by the face carving. It looks very much like a real face.

Pretty cool I thought, realistic.

Thank you for sharing this interesting object. There's additional information in the photo I found. It seems like a very historic place and icon, doesn't it?

Yeah, that hiker helped create some trails in the seal bay region of Vancouver island.

Interesting first image of the dragon spilling out water! The face carving took my mind those tree beings (I forget their name) in Lord Of The Rings :)

Yeah, I thought the dragon was super interesting, and not the usual type stuff I post. That's why I call it "random Friday". Thanks.

That dragon takes the cake today once again! Then again I'm a huge dragon fan so I might be just a touch biased... The gnome face carving is pretty cool too. Did you enjoy Boxing Day? Not one we celebrate here in the US.

It must be nice to have your own plaque after dedicating so much time to creating trails and hiking. Now he's immortalized!

I heard it was pretty crazy around town with people shopping for deals. Me, not much for shopping, stayed far away from the craziness. I guess Boxing Day is somewhat similar to your Black Friday.
