Panorama

In the Winter, Panorama, British Columbia is a popular ski/snowboard destination. In the Summertime, plenty of hiking opportunities to keep you occupied — or so I thought. After arriving here, I went straight to the trailhead, but quickly found out the area was closed due to construction. Hmmmm, plan B put into action. Only problem was I didn’t have a plan B lol. Seeing as this was my first time in Panorama, I wasn’t familiar with the lay of the land. I did notice a beautiful golf course nearby, so I parked the car and went off a wondering. Here are the first few photos, thanks for stopping by.

Oh so annoying when roads are closed for works and there's no clear alternative road... Still an interesting view with the trees and the mountains all around

Managed to make it an enjoyable relatively flat hiking experience. It was fun.

The road being closed is annoying, but I guess it's not a big deal because the place you stopped at is also very beautiful. It's worth taking a picture.

Sure is beautiful in summer isn't it? Winter would be lovely too but way too cold for my tastes at my age. And to think I used to be a ski instructor! The good old younger years! Sorry to hear the construction impeded your progress, but such is life at times. You still had a nice walk and got some great pictures. That first one really is nice and came out with great balance, well done.

As for Palm Springs I'll probably just play some golf and relax by the pool. Hopefully it won't be too windy, this time of year it can be hit or miss. I hope work doesn't keep you too busy this weekend!
