Nature Walk without Snowshoes

Here we are nearing the far side of Lake Louise; what an incredible hike/nature walk it was. Zero elevation gain/loss made for an easy peezy go of it. I can’t get over how much different this place looks with some snow sprinkled on top versus Summertime. The far side of the lake is also where the “Plain of six Glaciers” trailhead is located. A hike for warmer months, not for Winter, unless you have snowshoes to wear so you can walk on snow! Maybe someday I’ll give it a go! Have you ever tried snowshoeing? Thanks for stopping by.

Crazy to see it's already snowing. I have a friend driving through Montana right now and he decided against going up to Banff because the weather looked like it was going to turn cold.
Actually these photos are from last November (I'm quite behind in posting), that being said, the weather is on the cool and rainy side at the moment.
Oh gotcha, I hear you.
Im way behind as well and lately I have been doing more on this FOMO app and figuring it out.
Such a wonderful view to visit..☺️
It was so much fun!
Thanks.
Wow what a beautiful view.. I also really love traveling through mountains like these especially when they are covered with snow.
Nice pictures!
Just a little snow is ok, anymore and then snowshoes..
Wonderful photography! Reminds me of the Austrian Alps.Thsnks for sharing...
Would love to explore there someday. Thanks for looking.
You'll surely love it in Austria.
100%
It is truly amazing, like seeing a real-life fairytale land. Absolutely beautiful.
Yes, it does have that kind of magic. Thanks for stopping in.
This is breathtaking. The third picture is unimaginably beautiful. I must commend your ability to spot pictures that are worth taking, because that third picture was great. I have a health condition that makes the snow bad for blood flow in my system, but this is definitely something I'd like to try
Thank you, I guess it is the cold air which is the problem I assume?
Yes, definitely the cold air.
Walking in this place is a lot of fun. I also wish I could live in a place like this where it snows. Where we live, the temperature is 50 in the summer.
That is way too hot for me, don't know how you can stand it? Thanks for stopping by.
This looks so inspiring!! You are very brave to go there without the proper equipment!!
Well, the snowshoes were not actually needed for just walking around the lake. However if I was to attempt the "plain of six glaciers" hike then I would have absolutely needed them!
mountains are magnificent
My favourite thing to photograph. Thanks.
That turquoise water against the snowy mountains at Lake Louise is breathtaking! What an incredible nature walk. Thanks for sharing! 🏔️💙
It truly was incredible. Thanks for stopping by.
The far sode of the lake features converging glacial creeks , mountain streams, and great views of the hanging glaciers and rock climbers scaling the cliffs. I wish to visit and take a look at it
Definitely you ought to visit this place someday. Thanks for looking.
Qué increíble lugar, es hermoso parece una obra de arte, me gustaría algún día poder visitarlo, aunque debe hacer mucho frío 🥶
👍
So incredible! Those shots are amazing, especially that first one with the turquoise water. That glacier water is always so pretty, too bad it's so cold! Those mountains are beautiful, but you would have to be an experienced climber with ropes to ascend them. Way outside my skill level, that's a young man's game!
Awesome shots! What are you up to this week?
