One of my favourite things about hiking, are the trees! Imagine walking through a forest, down a hiking trail, beneath some large beautiful trees, enjoying the breeze. Yeah, it’s pretty awesome. Life, at it’s best! I always tell people, when on the hiking trail, to never forget to look up at the magnificent trees. Beauty in 360°. Tell me, what is your favourite part about being in nature? Also, colour or black and white, which do you prefer? Thanks for stopping by.

Both are beautiful, the color and the balck and white version.
Why do you have the rain track up in the forest?

It is actually a boat portage rail line, not a train track!

TBH, I never went for an official hike. If I go for one, I would love to enjoy the lovely trees.

I love colorful photographs!

Way to go!

Ohhh

Wonderful pictures as always.

I always feel the magic of nature is in its color, yet black and white gives it a whole new different vibe

A different vibe -- yes. That is the reason why I always include both versions. Thanks.

The photography results are quite beautiful. The trees there are also quite tall. You have captured such a beautiful picture.

The colors are glorious, but there is a sense of the ancientness of the forest in the black and white, and a matchless depth ...

The black n white definitely gives things an old pre-tv like feeling. Thanks for stopping by.

"Pre-TV" -- that's it. That's exactly the right term ... like some 19th-century John Muir vibes!

This time around, I think I prefer the colored pictures, they're detailed and full of life, and as know nature pictures makes more meaning with the colors

In general, yes, the colours outperform the colours. Thanks for commenting.

Always enjoy the trees, I agree! The sounds and smells really are amazing, but the views are always incredible. I like the colors today, probably just my mood. But the monochromes with dense brush almost make it an entirely new landscape. I know you're counting the days until you can get out there again! Or you could take up snowmobiling...

Snowmobiling, a whole different animal than hiking for sure! Never got much into it, surprisingly, definitely more popular in the rurals.
