Lake Louise Summer & Winter Fun

A few more clicks from our trip out to Lake Louise, Alberta last year. Off in the distance you can see the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Zoom in even closer and ski runs are visible as well. Banff National Park has two major ski resorts. Lake Louise has one and the other is Sunshine Village, located about a half hour away down the highway #1. Which is more popular you might ask? Of course that depends on who you ask. I know people that only go to Lake Louise, and others who use both. The “pros” tend to prefer the lake over the more family friendly village. Have you been to either? Thanks for stopping by.

Stunning photography! Lake Louise is truly a spectacular location in both summer and winter, and the perspective showing the Fairmont Chateau and ski slopes is fantastic.
I will gladly take some cooler weather here. It finally dumped rain on my side of town last night. Lord knows we needed it.

STOPThe mountains look even more charming when they are covered in white. All the pictures are beautiful and stunning. Thanks for sharing...
That big building is a hotel?
I think everyone would have their preferences based off of what they want from the lake, since you have two great places and people with different preferences. The second coloured picture is incredible, I mean, look at the heights. Great place truly
