Lake Louise Freeze
Next stop on our November journey took us to Lake Louise, Banff Park. Situated at a higher elevation than Canmore means cooler temperatures and yes — more snow, lots more! We managed to find a parking spot which was amazing in and of itself, as it is typically very congested, year round. The lake itself was still in liquid form, and just starting to ice over in spots. These are the first few photos I captured at the lake’s edge. Just out of view and to the right is the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel (a place I may at after a lottery win perhaps lol!). beautiful, frozen but unhealthy
Just have to make sure you dress properly.
The place you visited leaves me in awe once again. The first photo is truly extraordinary, the lake water, still a clear blue, contrasts with the snow beginning to blanket the entire area, creating a truly stunning and harmonious scene.

That's a lot of people in the second coloured picture. I mean, it obviously looks very cold, but the sight is honestly very beautiful to see.. the shots are looking really great. The lossless details even after zooming it in is such a beauty
It was cool, but not actually that cold, surprisingly. We really did have a great time.
That first photo, the cover photo, is a truly wonderful postcard, whether in color or monochrome... And the third photo, the one I took vertically, is a marvel; when it appears on the screen, you can almost hear and feel the place...

That sure is pretty, but looks cold! Having a nice warm room with a fire would be perfect for a winter stay there. The mountains are gorgeous with the early snow, and the lake a nice turquoise blue. I bet it's freezing cold though!
