Kootenay Klips

DSC00373.jpeg

A few more klips of the magnificent Kootenay river, captured on my journey home from Radium, British Columbia. I am quite far behind in posting pictures, truth be told. These klips were shot last September actually! In fact, three weeks from now I head back to the same area, but different hiking locations have been selected (and it is going to be epic..). As August dwindles away, have you had a chance to do anything exciting? Or perhaps you have something planned for the remaining weeks of Summer? Do tell in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by.

Great shots, the river looks really shallow when you look at it from a certain view and looks deep when you look at it from another perspective. The first picture just covers the whole river. Great sight

Yes it is very shallow in spots. I just love this river.

A cluster of small rocks in the middle of the river, forming something like an island, makes the river look more attractive. I imagine that if a single tree were growing there, the river's appearance would be truly spectacular.

If you look closely, it almost looks like a "heart" shape. Thanks for looking.
