Hiking around Moyie Lake
(Edited)

After wandering around the Moyie Lake area for awhile, in search of a trail, we finally discovered a trailhead — excellent! It was about a thirty minute loop hike without elevation gain, so more like a nature walk actually. Didn’t much run into anyone else on the trail which was awesome. Always like it when we get the whole forest to ourselves, aside from the wild animals of course! When you are out on the trails do you prefer to be in the company of more hikers, or the fewer the better? Thanks for stopping by.

Amazing shots
Thanks.
That's a nice spot for a view on that like... These clouds would tell me to go back home though 🤣
I don't mind one person from time to time, but walking on the opposite side!
Well as we were finishing, it started to rain. It worked out perfectly!
Even though there are dark clouds, the place still looks so peaceful. I love the shape of the clouds in the first picture, they're so beautiful.
There is a certain beauty to a menacing cloud formation!
I love your shots of the clouds and the trees. The place is very peaceful!
Yes it was. Thanks for stopping by.
I personally like this kind of adventure the most. Whenever we go to such a mountainous area, it makes me very happy to see it.
It's my happy place you might say.
Yeah.
I like the last colored picture, looks like that forest scenes of those thriller/fantasy shows. I think it could have been perfect as the starting picture for the post..
I'd like to run into people once in a while, this looks very beautiful but scary to hike alone
Yeah, there was two of us on this trail. Once in awhile I do go out solo, but only because my usual hiking buddies aren't able to join.
Glad you found a loop trail hike in the end! It's a gorgeous place that's for sure. I'm glad that building thunderhead didn't ruin your plans with a thunderstorm. Is Lake Moyie a return destination or a one timer? Great shots in today's post!
Any big plans for this weekend?

Good question. I'm going to say that this lake is a one timer for me. Not quite enough trail activity, views were ok, but nothing exceptional.

Tus fotografías se ven increíbles Me encanta cómo capturas la paz del bosque. Personalmente, prefiero los senderos solitarios para conectar mejor con la naturaleza.
Your photos look amazing! I love how you capture the peace of the forest. Personally, I prefer solitary trails to better connect with nature.
Yes, I agree with you. The less noise the better!
