En Route

Day two in Waterton Lakes Park, and the plan is to do another hike! Surprising eh? lol. The destination is Crandell Lake, but first we must drive to the trailhead. A spectacular drive with tons of scenery to behold. I’m sure it took twice as long to get to the trail, as I stopped a few times on the way for photos. Then I saw a hawk or an eagle circling up above, super cool. I wish I had the telephoto lens with for that. Thanks for stopping by.

Ohh too bad for the big bird you couldn't photograph! I'm so envy that you seen one free on the nature, here there aren't any of these
Oh really? You do see these birds from time to time, but not so often.
That shot of the eagle is beautiful. Is it possible for you to do zoom shots of animals, or things that requires a closer look sometimes?
Yes, but that would require me to lug around that huge 100-400mm lens. Perhaps in the future when I don't have much for time constraints, I'll get into this more.
It looks like that was a great day for a hike with things in bloom!

beautiful photography
Thank you.
Thanks.
Beauty colors, & a cool plane at the top of that one
Yeah bos, it was a fun one.
That is beautiful scenery, and nice catch of the bird of prey. Too bad you didn't have a telephoto lens to get a good look at it, I love those birds! How was the hike when you finally got there?
The extra stops along the way may make the journey longer, but you got some great picture to share with everyone. That makes it worth it!

I can’t not stop on the way, impossible lol. Sometimes I wish I lugged around that heavy zoom lens for times like this. Maybe someday in the future when I am retired and have a lot of time on my hands.
