Cascade Ponds, Again
Anytime ones visit Lake Minnewanka, Banff Park, one must also stop by Cascade Ponds; as it is in the same neighborhood. Always enjoy stopping by here and walking the trail around the area. A very popular place for picnics and barbecue's, various gathering and in particular, wedding pics! In fact between Banff and Canmore, they see hundreds of wedding groups year round, because who wouldn’t want to experience those special moments with mountains as your backdrop? Wow that's a cascade! Very thin but super long and going down like this from the mountain is very particular! Landscapes are also great

The first image is so beautiful, it's like looking into a mirror of nature. The neatly arranged pine forest is beautifully reflected in the clear water. The mountains in the distance look so beautiful, serene and majestic.

How is cali compared to Hawaii?
Cali is colder most times. more laid back.. at least where I am. (Morro bay is central coast and seems a much more older, more honest crowd.. ;) I am liking it, but am eager to get onto Philippines where there's much more action! :P
That water is just plain gorgeous. I love the color of those glacial ponds and lakes, something you can never get tired of seeing! Plus that nice cascading waterfall, very cool. It looks like a long hike to get close up to it though. I can tell you're looking forward to your upcoming visit!
You can actually park quite close to the base of the mountain, then start climbing. Have done it in the past, time to try again maybe.
