Blissful Evening

Afer a long day trip to the opposite side of Vancouver island, we finally returned around 8pm. I wanted to squeeze in just a little more to end off the day, so we went for a walk to the ocean as the sun went down. So peaceful, so relaxing. By now I think we were at about 15,000 steps for the day, and that didn’t include any actual hiking. Our hotel was located virtually beside the ocean, which made it super easy to go for a quick ocean walk. Also a mini airport was also in the vicinity, which was pretty cool. Thanks for stopping by.

It was truly a very pleasant journey, covering thousands of steps throughout the day and ending the day with a leisurely walk on the beach. it really was a perfect day.
Couldn't have asked for a better day or evening!

That must have been a fun day, but very exhausting! That was a lot of walking, but a great idea to stay right on the ocean front. The airport right next door is a oddity, but it makes it interesting. I've stayed in hotels right next to airport before, once with a view of the runways from 8 floors up. It was fun to see the big old jets fly in and out, but they were loud!
What a beautiful island! When do you think you will head back?
Either this year or next. We are looking at the east coast for the summer. Somewhere around Newfoundland, at least this is top on my radar at the moment.
