Approaching Forum Falls

The hike to Forum Falls was relatively easy, with an elevation gain of about 350 metres or so. But looking back on it, it did not feel like that much, I would have guessed less actually. Just goes to show you that our human estimations are not always correct. It was a beautiful walk up and through the sad but beautiful burnt forest (2017 devastating forest fire). The falls were tiny by comparison to others, yet beautiful in it’s own way. Next time I will need to hit Forum lake, which is a bit further up the trail. Thanks for stopping by.

Tiny but still good... Incredible, almost 10 years and yet the fire effects are still there
I wonder how long we need to wait for the forest to renew itself...
Despite its size, this waterfall is just as beautiful as the larger ones. The way the water falls is very neat.
Yes, waterfalls of any size are pretty cool. Thanks.
From the pictures it didn't look like the elevation was 350M, but that's such a massive height from the ground level. That water fountain is such a bliss.
Looks like you've completely stopped shooting with the iPhone.
The elevation gain is measured from the trailhead to the fall, not the fall itself.
Yes, haven't been using the iPhone much at all actually!
Thanks.
I really wanted to visit the nearest falls in my current workplace 💛 this is sooo cool
Yeah, thanks for looking.
That is gorgeous waterfall, whap a perfect spot for some shots! I love the sound as the water rushes over the falls, really nothing quite like it. The nice thing is that it was small enough to just be pleasant rumble and not deafening like those giant falls can be!
Sorry I missed you the last few days, I've been down with the flu... I hate getting sick, but it's part of life. I'm starring to get back in action now though. I still think I'll take a nap this afternoon though!

You've been sick somewhat lately...gotta crank up your health regimen! Glad you are feeling better.
That's a coo waterfall, I could wheelie a Trials Bike up there no sweat. Okay maybe a little sweat, sometimes there's sweat
Oh yeah? Go for it.
Burnt forest contrast makes falls pop.
My favourite season!
