So, 2025 has been a great year for my photography, I haven't taken as many shots as I'd have liked, and I did have a few occasions when I wish I'd taken my camera with me, but overall, I think for the quality of the shots, it's been a good year.

So here are some of my favourites from 2025.

This shot I had in mind for years, but I'd never managed to get to Durham until this year, thankfully the weather wasn't bad, apart from being cold. I need to go back and try this again when there's an epic sunrise. But overall, I'm more than happy with this.

Here are some of my favourite shots from my holiday in Mallorca, I went to celebrate my 50th birthday, a place I'd not visited since I was 17. I definitely fell back in love with the island again.

And then I went on further adventures.....

I also went to London for a private showing of the ZWO Astronomy Photographer Of The Year Awards Year 17 (2025), as one of my aurora pictures had been shortlisted, I didn't win but it was certainly one of the best nights of my life, and my image is now in the gallery at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich until September 2026.

I did book a photography holiday earlier in the year and only had the camera out twice as the holiday coincided with a storm that hit, so we booked another holiday at the same place and this certainly made up for the lack of photos from the previous holiday. These are by far some of my favourite shots.

I have lots more favourite images, but I thought I would share these few and keep it short. Thanks ever so much for reading and please don't forget to follow my new profile @dazzler75

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!
