This custom Shuriken Showdown 911 GT3 RS (991) is the latest addition to my Porsche collection in Gran Turismo 7

Anytime that I get in the mood to obsess over cars, Gran Turismo 7 is there waiting for me. This is the most fun I've had with a racing video game ever in my life. Not only is it extremely realistic in terms of driving, but so are the car models. I imagine that playing the PlayStation VR2 version of it must be totally amazing.

The other night I was bored and feeling a bit creative, plus itching to do some driving. I fired up GT7 on my PS5 and wondered what I would do. I decided to spend $250k in-game currency to purchase a Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991) '16. Then I spent that much if not more once again to fully upgrade the car and turn it into an absolute beast.

Next on my list was to personalize it so there would be no other Porsche in the world like this one. I added a wide body and some massive BBS wheels with a slight front-to-back offset. Just look at how wide those rear tires are.

My next step was of course to design a badass livery. This is how you differentiate your ride from the rest. I knew that I wanted to stay consistent with my other Porsche designs and go with my favorite color palette and pair it with white wheels.

You will see all three of the cars together in a few of the photos included in today's posts. I have to say, they match very well and I am in. love with how good the white wheels look on all three 911s.

The final step to this process before hitting the track and driving the car for the first time was to capture 10 beautiful photographs in Scapes. It has been several weeks since I last did this and to my surprise, there were some new features. The main thing that caught my eye was the ability to take drift photos now. I've always wanted to do this and now I easily can with GT7 Scapes.

I think I got some pretty epic shots out of the bunch. I traveled to many different parts of the world to find some cool locations. Taking photographs of cars that I spent hours designing never gets old.

As for driving the car. I can attest to its speed and handling. I did one race with it so far and instantly fell in love with how it drives. It's now my favorite Porsche in my evergrowing Gran Turismo 7 collection.
