My Lincoln MKZ looks gorgeous staged in front of these beautiful cherry blossom trees

I finally was able to get my new car washed for the first time since purchasing it nearly a month ago. I've been so busy with the Instacart work that I kept forgetting to bathe this sexy car.

The weather has also been slowly morphing into spring here in WV, so it's beginning to be rather amazing outside. The temperature is warmer, things are starting to bloom, and there is plenty of sunshine.

I was in between Instacart orders the other day when I noticed some lovely cherry blossom trees with an empty parking lot right next to them. I couldn't help myself and decided to go over there and take the first really good photos of my new Lincoln MKZ. I got really lucky that there were no cars in the way of the trees because I really thought they'd be the perfect background for my car photography.

I switched my iPhone 14 Pro over to portrait mode and then took several steps back and started playing around with different shots. I probably looked silly to any bystanders as I moved my car into different positions on three separate occasions. I had to get it from the front, back, and side. All angles were a must to show off this incredible car.

I am obsessed with the bokeh aka blurred background that portrait mode enables. It may all be software-based on the iPhone, but it works extremely well. I already knew that this car was gorgeous as I have a working pair of eyes. Plus, I've also received multiple compliments on it already. This all became even more apparent to me after seeing how these photographs turned out. I originally wasn't a huge fan of the red body color, but the more I see it, the more I love it. There is still more chrome than I usually like, but it's all growing on me.

I spend most of my time inside the car and I really love the interior and all the cool features quite a bit. Getting to capture this ride from the outside was a pleasure and it makes me feel tremendously lucky to have it in my possession.

Now that I know the iPhone 14 Pro is so good at car photography, I'm going to be on the lookout for more cool locations to photograph my car. As long as it's washed, I will be ready to go.
