Steppe landscapes

An interesting and unusual place for the steppe area was found during our last trip to the Orenburg region. Among the endless steppe - stone blocks and a fairly large grotto with a lake. In addition, there were many deposits of the mineral quartz in the rock. I have never seen such large deposits. Also, there was still snow in the ravines, apparently the sun rarely hits this part, so the snow melts for a long time. We were there on May 4, and during the day it was already very hot. But there was still snow. The locals say that in a couple of weeks the steppe flowers will begin to bloom, they say that the blooming steppe is a very beautiful sight. Perhaps next year, we will try to get here at this time.
