Bukobayskie Yars

IMG_0025.jpg

A rather unusual landmark for the steppe area in the Orenburg region. The locals call this place - Bukobayskie Yars. In fact, these are former fossils in the soil. The constant and strong wind in these parts grinds harder rocks, forming bizarre figures. Basically, they are all round in shape, but there is an exception. One ground stone of rectangular shape. In general, the place is very interesting and popular with tourists. It reminds me of the Valley of Balls in Kazakhstan, a reduced copy of it, a light version.

Looks like a textured version of the balls. Is the wind unbearable?

On the top of the hill and near the balls the wind is very strong. And in the valley it is already completely calm.
