Hello @castleberry, about the curation load, maybe you can leave it to the community and then elect the finalists manually. Some sort of automation may help here. For example;
Every week with a predefined period, people can put in comments a special character combination, such as "+1". At the end, you can filter and sort the posts that have this comment and amount of it. Lets say you will focus on first 10. As a final step you can select/arrange to end up with a more selective post. This way I would expect community to engage more with the posts and ease the burden.

I really appreciate your support and mention, my good friend @castleberry.

At first I wanted to say how much I love one image, then two, then three...
Then I kept scrolling and realized that basically all images here are absolutely sweet to look at.
I am getting some genuine fun out of here.
I have actually not yet experienced that on other places on the web yet, even on art focused sites.
The amount of good art here, especially the photography, is very pleasing to me.
Even the stuff I personally just find nice is great here.

When searching Public Domain websites I had fun looking at art from some museums but none of them had images like that.
This is really fun and I wanted just thank everyone here for making such amazing art.
It also is educational for me and my future photography so you are helping me too.

Oh wow, thank you so much! This photoshoot was not planned at all, because we only by chance saw the strange orange colour of the sky one evening when we looked out of the window. But I guess most of these kinds of shoots are unplanned. Thanks again!
