Enjoying the night atmosphere on the tourist pier in the city where I live, in the city of Banda Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia.
With a bit of wind hitting my body in the middle of the night, it was a challenge for me to get some long exposure shots with beautiful views here, as I only brought a tripod which I thought was a bit light to make with. it's easier for me to get around this city, in the end I decided to hold a tripod in order to keep out the wind when I take pictures.
Luckily for me the wind wasn't too strong, but if you pay attention to the leaves of the trees and the tip of the flag on one of the boats here it's a little swayed by the wind or it could be a wave of water, the flag on the ship.

Taking advantage of the lack of light from the lighting here, I turned it into starlight. This is my favorite technique for shooting at night, though I'm still learning it.

My position was right above the wharf, trying to shoot some of the boats parked there, I just had to point the camera left and right, between the boats flanking the wharf.

I tried to walk a few meters from the pier and tried to turn my eyes towards the back, from here I saw the pier where I was standing earlier.

In this position I walked farther, I estimate I was about one kilometer from the pier where I was standing before, from this side I could see the pier further and more freely.
