Hello dear friends of Hive and Photography Lovers, today I bring you some photos I took a few days ago in this beautiful village. It was one of those moments when the snow had almost receded to reveal the true face of Les Gets, a very beautiful one too, even if it's not dressed in white.

Suddenly I began to see the surfaces turning pink, and the sky began a magical play of orange clouds. That day I really wanted to see the sunset, and I was wondering which would be the best place, since the gondolas close at 16:30 and there is not enough time to see the sunset and descend.

And when I wanted to remember, the sky was showing me its best face.

Hola queridos amigos de Hive y de Photography Lovers, hoy les traigo unas fotos que tomé hace unos días en este hermoso pueblo. Fue uno de esos momentos en los que la nieve casi que se había retirado para dejar a la vista el verdadero rostro de Les Gets, uno muy bonito también, aunque no esté vestido de blanco.

De pronto empecé a ver que las superficies se teñían de rosa, y el cielo iniciaba un mágico juego de nubes anaranjadas. Aquel día tenía muchas ganas de ver el atardecer realmente, y me estaba preguntando cuál sería el mejor lugar, ya que las telecabinas cierran a las 16:30 y no alcanza el tiempo para ver el atardecer y descender.

Y cuando quise acordar, el cielo me mostraba su mejor rostro.

You can see in these images how the colors unfold and how they are reflected in the clouds, which seem to have been split into hundreds of parts, creating a very beautiful play of shapes.

The roofs of the houses are also bathed in these tones and offer the possibility of falling in love with the landscape, which burning at sunset, shows the wonderful play of light and shadows generated by the mountains, in the middle of the European winter, in the center of the mountain range of the Alps.

1950, 1960 cross my mind when I walk around here, when I observe, when I approach a local, and as soon as one begins to walk or to connect with nature in a sunset, you can notice how the XXI century moves further and further away, giving way to possible stories of yesteryear, to stories that happened in Les Gets, to the past, unknown, but somehow being emanated from the pores of this town.

What secrets do you have, Les Gets? is a recurring question in my head when I walk around here, let alone when an almost fiery sky rises before me.

Los autos parecieran haber llegado de otra dimensión a este pueblo que por momentos da la impresión de pertenecer a otra época de la historia.

1950, 1960 se me cruzan por la mente cuando camino por aquí, cuando observo, cuando me acerco a algún local, y ni bien uno empieza a caminar o a conectarse con la naturaleza en un atardecer, puede notar cómo el siglo XXI se aleja más y más, dando lugar a posibles relatos de antaño, a historias ocurridas en Les Gets, al pasado, desconocido, pero de alguna manera siendo emanado por los poros de este pueblo.

¿Qué secretos tienes, Les Gets? Es una pregunta recurrente en mi cabeza cuando paseo por aquí, y ni hablar de cuando un cielo casi de fuego se levanta ante mí.
