Up in the Skies. (Favorites of last week)
I got a bit more lucky last week than the one before. With photographs, that is. The rest was underwhelming. Today didn't start too well, either. But this post is about the pictures, not the stuff going on in my life - I wrote plenty of posts about that :-D
The Sky
Especially Wednesday was incredibly for pictures of the sky. It was a bit of a rough day as the Thursday-market had to be moved to Wednesday, but the weather did make up for that somewhat.

This one is early morning. There are a few more, with Mt. Imbabura in the background, but they didn't turn out as impressive as this one. I really loved how the clouds lined up like that, like a cloth, letting only parts of the light through.

I took some pictures of only the clouds of this motive, but the one including the rim of the clouds appeals most to me.

Of this one I have several versions, too. But I like the two palms framing the clouds like that.

Thursday was a gardening day, as I wrote in a different post. It rained cats and dogs in the afternoon, and going to Tang Soo Do training, I got his precious one. After the rain, Mt. Imbabura had cleared up completely, but there was that darkness right above it. With the sun starting to set, it made for an eerie atmosphere.
Photowalk
I did one on Saturday. And was able to take at least two pictures that I like. I think the first one would be great as B/W as well.

That's the original, obviously.

Most of the difference is in the upper part, turning the colors of plants and sky out. But the front motive doesn't change too much.

Walked by a Bougainvillae, and can't walk by one now without taking a picture for @macchiata. Especially with Mt. Cotacachi pulling out of the clouds in the background, and a wonderfully blazing sun.
One more for the road

This bugger was bothered by my gardening on Thursday. So she got a free photoshoot. Not sure that makes up for me destroying her net. Probably not. She just might hate me forever.
That's it. I hope you enjoyed this selection. As always, any feedback and especially tips and tricks are very welcome! As long as it's not AI generated content or comment spamming... 😅
Thank you for stopping by!
All pictures are taken by myself with a Motorola Edge 60 Pro and I reserve the copyright - but you're welcome to ask if you'd like to use one of the pics!
Some interesting photographs where nature is the main protagonist and subject. Regards, @beelzael
The picture of the volcano was very ominous. I also like the one where you talk about the plams framing the clouds. Then there is that spider. Now that is one scary critter.
I'm happy you enjoyed the pictures! I hope I'll find some more motives in the right might this week, too.
Looking forward to them.
