That's one of the greatest rewards for all i do for the community behind the scenes, picking the featured images here. I have a different style and taste, so oftentimes appreciate images that surprise the photographers. I really wanted to do the first reflection in the christmas ball but love the angle of the reflection featured in the one i chose. And, it does always suck to get sick... although this time i got delerious for a couple of days so much that it was almost fun. Weirdo Timmy
Well you do a fine job of selecting. It's not easy and it's also time consuming, although fun when you enjoy it. It's far more interesting to me to hear what someone else prefers and sees. It gives me a completely different perspective. Thank you for that.

Could you explain about witness votes? I have 30 and don't know what to do with them
Yes, and thanks for asking. Witnesses are node operators, or people who run the Hive network. We vote for the top ones and it cost us nothing! It helps them and it's part of the democratic process that helps keep things decentralized. So, support the witnesses you want to see do well and that are actively running the network. You can look at my witness votes to help you choose some...

Hello bro, I hope you're doing well. I have another question that's been bothering me a bit. For the past few days, my posts haven't been receiving a good reception. Do you know if I'm making any mistakes, or do you have any advice on how to improve? Thank you in advance for your time.
From what i can see, my suggestion would be to try and engage a bit more. I see a many day gap in your comments. You post fairly regularly but the more you engage the better you will expand.
You have been around since the Steem days and not much has changed in as far as how to grow and build here on HIVE. Sometimes, you may be curated and get some bigger votes. Many times, curation from big accounts doesn't happen, and it will just be the organic response most people get.
So, i wouldn't say you have received a bad reception. You were curated a few times in the middle. It always feels good to get the big votes and curated well. It can feel the opposite when a person doesn't get the votes they would like to see.
This is why it's important to network and communicate and develop relationships. The HotShots curation post is designed to hook everyone up with each other. Just connecting with everyone on the posts featured will get you plugged into some network of possible support. It's mostly about relationships here. That's my advice... make the BEST Quality content you can and develop your relationships. I hope this helps.
Of course it's helpful, and a lot. I thought that because I've been around since the Steem times, my account was no longer useful or something like that. The truth is, I only came back recently and I'm only posting here now, Steem is forgotten. But if it has nothing to do with that, I'll keep moving forward. Do you advise me to continue with this account or create a new one that doesn't come from those times?
Stick with this account and just don't be active over there. People respect the old school users that migrated over here. Just keep doing your thing and follow those tips i gave you and you should do fine. Also, i have two posts that help explain some other details for new folks.. but it's useful info even for not so new users.
