The Sweet World of Children; Child Photography in the Studio πŸ‘Ά

Hello to all photographers and lovers
and friends in the photography lovers forum.
I hope you are well.
Today I want to share photos of a very beautiful and charming little girl that I took in the studio.

Let me tell you a little about the challenges of children's photography .

To be honest, child photography is very sweet, but it's a world of challenges! I mean, just bring a 2-year-old in front of the camera, and then you'll understand that this job is not just about taking shots!

First of all, kids get bored very quickly. By the time you set up the camera and lights, the other one has gone rummaging through the studio closet looking for snacks! πŸ˜… And if they get shy and don't want to come down from their mom's lap, I have to spend a lot of time getting them used to the space, me, and the camera.
I really try to calm the kids with the help of my assistant.

Sometimes they think they came to play, not to take photos! Which, of course, they have a point. I also try to befriend them and play with them rather than just take pictures. Because until they feel secure, they won't smile genuinely. I really don't like forced smiles.

Another challenge is choosing the kids' clothes and style. Sometimes moms want a specific outfit that the kid hates! So when they wear that outfit, they either cry or frown! πŸ˜…
So I always tell parents that the child's comfort is more important than anything else, and also to bring several outfits in different colors instead of just one.

Lighting with kids is a whole different story. Because they keep moving, you can't say "wait a moment"! You have to pay attention to the light settings, focus, and framing...
Overall...
Even though there are many challenges, when that pure smile and innocent look appear in the photo, all the fatigue disappears.

Del Ava, this beautiful young lady, was one of those kids who had a hard time adapting to the studio environment and it took a little time. But with the help of dear aunt, we were able to capture her smile.

because of the pink color of her dress, I tried to use flowers of the same color. And I chose a light background.

After sitting for a while; he got tired and we put him in the next position on his stomach, but after two shots, he sat up again.

Mom Del Ava insisted that we also have the anniversary number in the photos.

Gradually got familiar with the studio environment and his cute mischiefs started! At first, he was a little shy, but slowly as the space became familiar to him, he gave me a lot of energy for photography πŸ˜„

In children's photography, patience and quickness must go hand in hand! In a way, you have to be both calm and ready to capture the moment πŸ˜…
But I really love capturing those moments.

If you are a mom or dad and want to capture your child's monthly anniversaries, birthdays, or even those natural moments in the most beautiful way, definitely try a photography experience in the studio. I promise it will be the best frame of your memories.

I would love to know your thoughts on this style of photography or if you have any questions, please write to me.
Until the next photo and another sweet moment, goodbye πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

I've always found it difficult to take photos of small children, but you make it look so easy with your beautiful photographs!
