Hello Everyone, Today, I am going to share some truly amazing and super interesting monochrome captures that I believe came out pretty well and literally look absolutely marvellous, rather magnificent.

I am sharing the monochrome and the coloured versions for all of them and for you all to see and compare, which one did you liked the most from both the categories.

The Musical Instruments Museum, #Brussels, #Belgium

The “Musical Instruments Museum (MIM) in #Brussels, #Belgium, was actually inaugurated & opened to the general public on October 24, 2000.

Quite interestingly, while the building/structure itself dates back to the year 1899, it totally underwent widespread overhauls before it being converted into the #museum that now wonderfully showcases its extraordinary collection of #musical instruments from around the #globe. That’s truly amazing…isn’t it !!

It stands as a symphonic rhyme to the #world's totally diverse musical #heritage.

It is housed in a prominent “Art Nouveau building”, the MIM showcases an astonishing collection of over 8,000 musical #instruments from different “cultures” & “historical stages”. That’s actually sound so very interesting. It builds lot of curiosity and interest amongst one and all to visit and see these with their own eyes.

Visitors/tourists and music lovers from all over the #world, embark on a enchanting journey through the evolution of #music, brilliantly discovering instruments ranging from “ancient times to the modern era”.

The painstaking curation highlights the “craftsmanship & artistry” behind each piece available there, truly providing wonderful insights into the “cultural contexts” that literally shaped their amazing and proud creation.

Nonetheless, one of MIM's prominent features is its advanced use of #technology, allowing clients to wonderfully experience the “sounds & melodies” of the instruments through the interactive displays. The MIM museum's remarkable #architecture beautifully adds to the overall #ambiance, truly offering a visually spectacular background for the varied array of #musical resources.

The MIM in #Brussels is not just a stationary #exhibition of #artifacts; it is a dynamic festivity of #global musical traditions/cultures, nurturing an obligation for the “rich tapestry” of human “creativity & expression”.

La Casas Ramos, #Barcelona #Spain

“La Casa Ramos” is a truly beautiful private residence that looks so wonderfully designed, which is located in the exclusive “Sarrià-Sant Gervasi” neighborhood of #Barcelona, #Spain.

It was actually amazingly designed by #architect “Jaume Torres i Grau” in the “Noucentisme style” which is a “”Catalan #architectural movement” that occurred in the early 20th century as a response to the professed extremes of #Catalan #Modernism. To me this sounds brilliantly interesting and I am literally impressed with its architecture.

The building/residence was originally built in the year 1906 and is truly categorized by its sheer elegant and inconspicuous #design. The frontage is so beautifully decorated with “graffito panels”, “stone balconies”, & “wrought-iron railings”. Its interior geographies wonderfully spacious rooms with absolutely high ceilings & elaborate moldings that make such a beautiful architectural design and amazing building.

It is a nominated “Bien de Interés Cultural” (BIC) and “Bien Cultural de Interés Nacional de Cataluña” (BCIN), two of the premier ranks of “cultural protection” in #Spain.

It is literally considered / preferred to be one of the really finest models of “Noucentisme #architecture” in Barcelona, #Spain.

Statue du Roi Albert, Brussels, Belgium

The “Statue du Roi Albert 1er” is an horse-riding statue of King Albert I” of #Belgium, which is located on the first terrace of the “Mont des Arts” steps in #Brussels.

This #statue was amazingly created by such a skilled sculptor “Alfred Courtens” & it was unveiled to the piblic in the year 1951.

Interestingly, The “King Albert I” was famous as the "Soldier King" for his key role in “World War I”. He led the #Belgian army during the “German invasion” of Belgium in the year 1914 & bravely refused to grant the “German troops” free passage through the country.

Bravely enough, he remained with his #troops on the #battlefield till the war ended.

The huge statue depicts “King Albert I” sitting on his horse, robed in a #military uniform & a helmet. To depict the statue more accurately, he is looking straight ahead with a totally determined look. The huge statue is wonderfully crafted and made of #bronze and is attached on a tall/high #bluestone platform.

The “Statue du Roi Albert 1er” is a really popular visitor/tourist fascination & is a great reminder of the key/important role… that… “King Albert I” played in Belgian history, to be remembered by one and all.

You may like to see/view the colored versions of the above monochrome and probably compare, just to see and feel the surreal difference they may project and portray.

I agree with you that the pictures came out really nice. Black and white pictures are the best, honestly. I might really consider shooting in only black and white😂😌
