Just as I began the challenge of immortalizing the docks of my city (which I'll be resuming soon), I'll also start capturing the various chandeliers and candelabras with my phone's camera, revisiting places where they've gone unnoticed and discovering new spots.

This first time I do it from the city's arts museum, also known as the Ferrer Palace, where lamps and chandeliers are an inseparable part of the museum landscape, of the historiography of the space, because each one comes from a house, a family that, whether by donation or sale, has wanted its assets to remain safe.

Each of these objects was created by different artisans and glass artisans who together worked the metal and glass in a beautiful dance that aimed to create these beautiful pieces that tell us the memories of people and families who lived in the city.

These are poignant images of objects from bygone eras that have sadly been forgotten by new artisans, at least in terms of traditional techniques. I hope that the new artisans in my city will soon revive this important tradition.
