Street photography in Belgrade | Preparing for the challenge
Hello all photography lovers! It's been over two months since I've updated you with new photos from the streets of Belgrade. Part of it is because I didn't have the motivation and inspiration to go out and create new content.
It seems like I get into this type of rut at least once a year. On a recent trip to Prague for example I had no issues whatsoever and took a lot of nice images. But roaming the same streets over and over seems to block my flow. It happens that I'll walk for 1-2 hours and end up with only couple of captures. It shouldn't happen though - as a street photographer, what you see in the streets is always new and changing, there's always enough reasons to go out and be persistent.
If you follow me for a while, you might remember that what I like to do in these situations is give myself a defined challenge - go out every day, take photographs and post them here. It forces me to get over the resistance. The key is discipline, consistency. It's a shame to let the talent go to waste. :)
So with the next post I'll begin a new photography challenge for myself, I'll figure out the details by then. In this one I'll share photos I took here and there over the last two months. They include some documentary photos from the protests against the government, photos from Belgrade marathon and other random captures.
Photos taken with with Fuji X-Pro2 + 35mm F/2. Hope to see you again next time with the start of the challenge.
Ohh Belgrade is so alive, especially these days 😁 Beautiful photos!
Yes and pretty hot as well! :D Whoever is not on a vacation will find something to do here as well. :)
Thank you!
Wow. I feel like I stepped into a movie. A story of different people with different lives. Belgrade is absolutely majestic and I keep thinking of what must be the stories or maybe what's in the minds of the beautiful people here. Awesome photography.🌺
I like when people are provoked to think about the images. Telling the story and leaving something to the imagination. :) Glad you liked the photos!
Super fan of this kind of pictures, simply spectacular ❤💖
Glad you enjoy them, thank you! :)
This shot is epic. I love all the different textures and the rain and fog on the glass. It gives it a mysterious look.
Those kind of shots are always fun to make, with condensation on the windows. I've had some amazing captures this way.
Wow, how nice your pictures, I really liked them. They all have an admirable quality, good job 😊🙌
I am so happy you like them! :)
A photo is good when it not only captures a picture but also conveys an emotion. I could pick up on that in some of your photos. They are great. Thanks for sharing.
That's one of objectives when I'm shooting. Glad that you liked it! :)
All the photos are like they are in the movie, I am very engrossed in seeing them all and I really like to thank you
That's good to hear, I like having the cinematic vibe in my photos. :)
I really enjoyed your pictures, they are so captivating… You can se spontaneously and just the life over there in the street, simple but complex at the same time
Yes, photographing it as it is, capturing some ordinary and extraordinary moments. :) Thanks!
