A Time to Pray

The last few days have been marked by a deep spirituality, first we went through a week where the Catholic faith shows a penitent, supportive and loving attitude, and then we entered into a news that paralyzed the world and is that the loss of Pope Francis undoubtedly led the headlines and invited us to look at humanity and the sincerity of a faith, which when practiced correctly shows us the way to success. No matter what religion we are, I believe it is important to recognize the good things of some men and women, whose actions make a difference.

Un Tiempo Para Orar

Los últimos días han estado marcados por una profunda espiritualidad, en primer lugar atravesamos una semana en donde la fe católica muestra una actitud penitente, solidaria y amorosa, para luego adentrarnos en una noticia que paralizó el mundo y es que la pérdida del Papa Francisco sin duda alguna encabezó los titulares y nos invitó a mirar hacia la humanidad y la sinceridad de una fe, que cuando se practica de manera correcta nos señala el camino hacia el éxito. Sin importar de qué religión seamos, creo que es importante reconocer las cosas buenas de algunos hombres y mujeres, los cuales con sus acciones logran marcar la diferencia.

It is for this reason that my daily activities today, in which I had to walk several blocks of downtown, I took the opportunity to stop for a few moments and pray in one of the most beautiful churches I've seen in my life, a place that gives us a mixed architecture, where the Gothic stands out to the fullest and contrasts at the same time with some baroque touches. But undoubtedly generates the ideal environment to pray for the world and pray for the souls of all those who in life tried to do good and fought against selfishness, apathy and discrimination.

Es por esta razón que mis actividades diarias del día de hoy, en las cuales tuve que recorrer varias cuadras del centro de la ciudad, aproveché para detenerme unos instantes y orar en una de las iglesias más lindas que he visto en mi vida, un lugar que nos regala una arquitectura mixta, en donde el gótico resalta a plenitud y contrasta al mismo tiempo con algunos toques barrocos. Pero que sin duda alguna genera el ambiente ideal para orar por el mundo y pedir por el alma de todos aquellos que en vida trataron de hacer el bien y lucharon contra el egoísmo, la apatía y la discriminación.

I'm not going to lie to you, I think I made more than 300 steps inside this church, because it has every detail, color and shape that is impossible to appreciate it completely by remaining static, it is necessary to walk through it, feel it and appreciate it from different angles, in order to discover its perfection and beauty. I like it when during my day I stumble upon places like this, where you can see a dedicated, exquisite and comforting work. This is a clear example that architecture at the service of art and people results in incredibly beautiful spaces, which are worth visiting and getting to know to the fullest.

No les voy a mentir creo que al interior de esta iglesia hice más de 300 pasos, ya que tiene cada detalle, color y forma que es imposible apreciarla por completo quedándose estático, es necesario recorrerla, sentirla y apreciarla desde diferentes ángulos, para de esta forma poder descubrir su perfección y belleza. Me gusta cuando durante mi día tropiezo con lugares como este, en donde se puede observar un trabajo dedicado, exquisito y reconfortante. Esta es una muestra clara de que la arquitectura puesta al servicio del arte y de la gente da como resultado espacios increíblemente hermosos, los cuales vale la pena recorrer y conocer a plenitud.
